Still very upset

Not a day goes by that I don't regret this lipo, I'm reminded every day I look in the mirror and see my scarred and ugly tummy, wish I had my inny belly button back, wish I wasn't scarred, makes me sad every day :(

I was over 50 and wanted to do something for myself, I was otherwise slim with belly fat and under chin fat, the under chin fat I will discuss in another review, this is just the vaser lipo review. My experience, I have been advised, was not typical, I had a lot of pain, and a few weeks after the surgery started to form hard lumps and scar tissue, my skin took 12 months to lose the discoloration from the surgery, its still slightly shadowed. My inny belly button is now and ugly outy, there is so much scar tissue. I massaged every day, I had 3 rounds of PRP injections which were extremely painful and still I have an ugly result. It looks like I have a gouge across my lower tummy, its hard and doesn't feel normal, it still protrudes. It has been the worst experience and I paid all that money to end up scarred and depressed. Dr Rahbar seemed very nice about it all but hasn't offered any explanation or financial compensation other than I scar badly, I've been left scarred and look worse than when I started, think seriously before doing this, this is invasive surgery not just a procedure. The bruising was very painful, the swelling was terrible, I had very bad constipation from all the pain relief which added to my misery. The compression garments are torture, I wore mine for 3 months to try and improve healing and wore spanx for another 3 months, nothing has healed the hard scar tissue I have it for life now sadly.

Dr Rahbar was very solicitous but he acknowledged that my experience was not good, still he offered no compensation and was happy to keep all the money from this poor outcome. I still wasn't fully healed at my last visit, but no phone call or follow up, once you're officially done you are on your own.
