Stubborn Double Chin - San Diego, CA

Being young, the thought of cosmetic surgery was really never my priority. But for years I struggled with being self conscious about my appearance, specifically with my double chin. Last August, I decided I was going to make some changes in my life and was able to loose 30lbs before my procedure in March. A good percentage of that weight was lost in my mid section, which was great but what I truly wished for a slimmer face & jawline. After months of research, and finally getting the courage to set up a consultation, i was excited to see my options. My initial consultation with Dr. Groff was more than what I had expected. I really felt comfortable. He was easy to talk too, explained everything in away that I was able to understand and he had a couple slick little jokes too. Anyone that can make me genuinely make me laugh is all good in my book. Before my procedure I was extremely nervous. Never having had any kind of surgery in my life before but the entire staff at Cosmetic Laser Dermatology were beyond amazing at comforting me, I literally felt like a celebrity. I thought to myself, "this is probably what Beyonce's life must be like." During the procedure I felt no pain, a little pressure and I remember the sound of The Smiths playing in the background. It took an hour from start to finish, and shortly after I was on my way home. For a couple weeks after, I was debating whether I made the right choice, looking at myself in the mirror everyday for improvement. Like most people I judged it right away, which is a BAD IDEA because swelling can last for a few weeks. When I came in for my 6 week follow, they took photos and I could not believe what I looked like before. Words could not explain how happy I was. I looked younger, and already being young I did believe that could happen. I was told my Dr. Groff, I would continue to see improvement 3months & 6months post treatment. If my 6 week post op photos were amazing, I literally can't wait to see was I look like when i've reached my finial result. I highly recommended Dr. Groff and Cosmetic Laser Dermatology! You can definitely go somewhere else for a cheaper price, but along with that there is a saying, "you get what you pay for." Im so grateful for the positive over all experience and would do it all over again in a heart beat, but praying I don't have too.
