Made to 1 week!
Got my stitches out today! Had a great office visit as usual. My incisions look great , the cut is very straight An perfectly in the creases of my boob so when they drop more they will be completely out of site ! Definitely excited about that. I'll post pictures of the incisions later tomorrow. They also took pictures for me today so you guys could get a better view of my boobs besides my selfies lol.

I felt so great today!
In the first couple days you really don't see the light at the end of the tunnel, but today I felt so good. I had finally slept In my bed which is the greatest feeling ever after multiple nights in a chair ... I'm only taking my pain pills at night now before bed which is great. I felt so good me and the family went to the beach today!! I couldn't get in due to my stiches still being in but at least I looked awesome in my bathing suit :)

Are you doing anything to prevent the recurrence of the capsular contracture?

No. I don't believe there is anything you can do Once you've had surgery. It's just our body's reaction to a foreign object. But my doctor put the implant in dual plane which was supposed to help prevent it . For how they feel An look I definitely think I dodged the bullet this time but only time will tell .

Yes my surgeon says nothing you can do. I see other PS are prescribing a asthma medication to help prevent/treat it. I was curious because I had light contracture of both implants entire 15yrs last couple yrs the R breast pulled tighter due to rupture and leakage. Hoping I can keep my new soft boobies! Fingers crossed hoping to stay this way

Thanks for your responses. I wanted smooth they feel nicer after healed. My PS swears textured is better so that's what I got again. Supposedly they help reduce contracture and don't rupture as easily cause it's a thicker shell

Yea my PS replaced mine with textured as well. The downfall is that it doesn't bounce and move with my body like the smooth does.

Of course I love RealSelf . It's helped me so much. I've had to ba and neither donor has recommended textures. I don't know to much about them. But I hope the work out well for you when they heal An fluff

Thank you they are fine a lil stiff.Healing after 2nd BA is way easier my implant is the same size as before I teased my mom it was like a tire change for my chest. I wanted smooth. But my PS wasn't having it. They are like a Velcro implant. The smooth move in pocket. The textured grow in to the pocket. So less issues with slipping long run or malposition but don't feel as real. :)
