I did it! Third day post op from my tummy tuck and lipoid back, flanks, and hips!

Can't believe it's over! I thought the day would never come and it did. Posting my before and 2 post op picture in my CG. Anybody have ideas on the CG and how to wear it with the hole in the back from the opening where it won't show under your pants? Do you always wear loose pants or a skirt during CG phase? Hard to really see any difference with so much swelling and foam pads in the CG. Estimate I was up about 15 pounds right after surgery and I'm about 8 pounds up now in swelling. I weigh myself to gauge the swelling phase, not weight loss.

Wow! You look so good! I just had a wrap around waist binder for my abdominoplasty! Yours looks complicated!

Once I got used to it and it wasn't as painful to pull up, it was much simpler. Super happy with one week results so far...too much swelling to see the end result but well worth it, indeed.

Hope you are moving better this week! Each day gets better! I am 9 weeks out from surgery this Wednesday and even though I am sore I am starting to feel more myself!

Awesome! How long did you wear the compression garnents? When did you notice the biggest changes in the swelling going down? Thanks for sharing... :)

My doctor told me I could stop wearing my compression garment at 6 weeks but I felt too naked without the support so I kept it on for 8 weeks just during the day. At night I would just wear regular underwear. I then went out to Walmart and purchased those cheap support underwear to wear during the day without my binder. They are a tiny bit snug but not too tight just enough to keep me comfortable then I just wear regular underwear at night. I am noticing now that some of the swelling is down in the morning but but the afternoon I still swell a bit. The doctor said the swelling could last six months or more.

Loose clothes are your friend right now. My CG and zippers/hooks in front, on each side, with hole in crotch for goin to the bathroom. I wore underwear over top of mine. Had to take th CG off to go poo. Sounds like you're gonna need help in that department, cause of the way yours is constructed. Foam pads help make the Lipo areas to heal flat, so try and be patient with that. Best wishes for a speedy recovery. :-DSzuy

Thank you Suzy! One week post op and feeling much better each day. :)

Thank you both for your feedback, the hole I mean is in the crotch, not the back, sorry I didn't specify. It's where it split at the bottom of the buttocks, just enough to create a small crease which I'm not sure if noticeable with pants or not, I just assume it is, haven't gotten that far yet. I had lipo of the back, flanks and hips which is why the binder isn't enough, i need compression in more areas which is why my garment is more extensive. Everything is going well for now, it's day by day. Thank you both so much! :)

Hey there. Hope you're doing well with the TT recovery. Got a question for you about your arm lift recovery. When did you start using the silicone strips? I think I read where you stopped at 12 weeks, but didn't see when you started. Think I'm ready for them. I'm 3 weeks post op, and my incisions look like yours did at that point. Thanks and continued good healing :-DSuzy
December 23, 2015
I started around 3 weeks, my doctor is the one who told me when to start, he already mentioned he expects me start that on my TT incision in two weeks.

Great! Thanks so much. I already gave the strips. I used them with my TT and I really think they help make the incision/scar minimal and flat. I had a few little scabby/slightly open spots on tummy so had to wait til 6 weeks to start with the silicone. My arms look all closed, so gonna go ahead and start. Thanks again. Hugs and healing :-DSuzy

Everything is awesome! Sometimes I forget I had the surgery because the feeling is completely normal. My left arm is going to need a revision due to an injury years ago that created an indentation that is still there mid arm. The sutures in that arm gave me the most trouble and is longer in scar healing than the right. Getting ready for TT and lipo....:)

Your arms are amazing. I'm having my Mommy Makeover first in August (TT, Lipo, Breasts, etc) and my arm lift a few months after that but I can't help looking at pics. Your scars are beautiful and barely seen. Your results are gorgeous!

Thanks! I'm happy with my results. I can wear sleeveless dresses and tops now. Good luck with your surgery.
