I have two beautiful babes both born via c-section. I've always been an athlete, and unfortunately also a yo-yo dieter. This has always been bc of my tummy. No matter how fit and lean, I had to be anorexic looking everywhere else to have a toned tummy. In my 40's I unfortunately keto dieted myself into cortisol spike and insulin resistance. It was time for me to stop the diet obsession an just fix the tummy!

Today was shower day! Not gonna lie it was a bit scary taking off all of the garments and bandages and seeing my new figure. So far I’m thrilled!!! I am significantly swollen, especially on my hips, and my butt is WAY bigger than I want it, but I know I’ll loose half of the transfer, so I’ll just be patient. I was really scared to see my scar, but I had to face my fears and put mupirocin ointment on the scar. I’m sooooo sore on all my lipo areas, can tell he fixed my diastasis, and broke out in a cold sweat getting all the tape off before my shower, but after that, getting some ice water, and getting cozy again, I’m getting excited! I’m focusing on taking lots of great supplements and getting good nutrition. I have a lymphatic massage scheduled for day 6.

People forget the docusate, and just start taking miralax before and each day after the surgery. I wished I would have. The Percocet has me so constipated, and the docusate does nothing. I learned that from having babies, but I’m such an instruction follower, and the instructions were to take docusate! Bearing down after having this sx is absolutely terrible sorry for the tmi. Itching is starting to set in on my back and flanks where he lipo’d and renuvion’d. The phase 1 garment is so thick I can scratch lightly on the outside of it and get some relief without irritating my skin. I’m still soooo bruised and swollen, but have been able to significantly reduce the amount of pain meds I’m taking, yay! Both drains are still producing around 80cc per day, and they can’t come out until it’s down to 20cc in 24 hours. That Will be a good day! I still have 5 days until I’m back at work, so praying they come out before then. My lymphatic massage is tonight, that should be interesting!
