I had read so many reviews and heard of people...

I had read so many reviews and heard of people hurting during the procedure that I went in super nervous. I just had it done today so I wouldn't be able to let you know if it was totally worth it but I could tell you I really don't have much pain today even though my doctor told me I will feel the pain tomorrow. So my doctor informed me of every step he was going to do and answered every question I had. He began my taking pictures, followed by marking the areas. One question I had because I noticed was " wil you be doing my bra line "?. He said yes I'll go in a little cause you don't have much. He walked out and the nurse walked in, one again I rectified will he be doing my bra line and she said no cause they are only able to do 2 parts at a time. I informed her if she could ask him because money maws not an issue and I wou like to get it done all at once. She walked out to ask him and once again he said I would do it cause I have every little.nthe doctor came back in and I said goodbye to my wonderful hubby who has supported me all the way, even though he said I looked wonderful. I thank God for the wonderful support I have received from my hubby and amazing boss. So the doctor started by inserting the anesthesia mix, I have to admit it hurt at times but it was tolerable. During that procedure at times you feel a pinch especially in the rib area but I took it like a solder. Hey after four pregnancys anything is better. He followed by melting the fat, once again he informed me of his next step. I was wide up wake the hole time. Funny cause the nurse had given me a Vicodin and Xanax before we started and mid way a second Xanax. Once we were done she told me I can believe you never knotted out. As he was melting the fat we spoke the whole time and he's any questions I had he answered. After the melting of the fat ca,e the fun part. The removal of the fat. Believe it or not but it is incredible what we humans have inside our bodies. The fat was disgusting he took out 3 and a half liters,to what he told me 4 is the legal amount, I was little surprised since I really didn't thank I needed that much out. When the doctor was taking out the fat he would do one part and go back to the previous part, in other words he would go back and forth I guess to make sure he was contouring right. When he was done he wished me luck in my recovery and told me to have a nice lunch. After the nurse started to clean me up and put the maxi pads on the incisions (maxi pads are very absorbent). And helped me put on my compression garment, I thought nthe compression garment was going to hurt or feel uncomfortable but to my surprise I it helped out a lot. My doctor told me to wear it 24/7 for the first month and half a day after that. I asked him if Once the 24/7 compression past could I wear a nice tight garment from Walmart or specialty store, he said what ever is comfortable for you and to keep in mind the longer you wear it the before the recover and results. So after the nurse was done she let my wonderful hubby in to take me. The doctor requested a post-op in a week. One thing else he told me to wait 2 weeks to start the lymph massages because it will hurt, but I am starting next week. 5 days the first week and 2 to 3 after for the first six weeks. I want to be able to enjoy my new body and do not what any bumps developing.

Wow.  I'm really surprised at how much he was able to take out, looking at your pictures.  Are you very tall?  Also, how much did you pay?

Happy healing to you!  You'll definitely feel it tomorrow once the tumescent fluid numbing wears off.  Erk.  It's not so fun.  I'm excited to see your results!

Hi twoplusone! Thanks for your interest. Well I'm only 5'3 and weigh 155 lbs. I did upper, lower abdominal and side flanks. My doctor's fee was $4200 but was running a special,if paid of by November 7, the total would be $3200. Everyone I've told has told me it was a great deal. In the morning when I woke I felt like a train had run me over. To my surprise I have no bruises and I usually bruise easy. The day went by good not much pain.

The bruising often shows up after a few days to a week, so don't freak out if it happens :D.  That is a greeeeaat deal, yeah.  Lemme go look at your new pics!

Are you still satisfied with your results? I have a consultation with this doctor next week. I would appreciate any feedback.

Day after

Feeling good just feel uncomfortable sore. Not taking prescribed meds just taking Tylenol straight strength and antibiotics. In the morning when I woke I felt like a train had ran me over, took some Tylenol and felt better. Had oatmeal with a banana for breakfast and I had arranged a healthy food delivery set up.my cousin came over and help me a lot by helping me get the garment on and cleaning the incisions. Finally was able to shower felt like I had showed in days. My pelvic area is really swollen. I don't see much difference but my wonderful hubby does (he loves to make me feel good) will keep updating every so often.

I see it!  You look great!  You're gonna start swelling in maybe a week or so?  It's likely.  But hopefully you'll get rid of some of the fluid before that happens so you'll be able to see the difference yourself before it starts becoming murky because of the swelling.  It's nice to have something to look back on, to remind yourself that the results are there.

What's the healthy meal service you mentioned?  That sounds like a fantastic resource.  Or is it just your cousin bringing food? :)

I don't know, maybe it's swelling slightly more on one side.

Not sure what you're referring to but what I see with the faja, your shape looks good.

At 8 days, you are swelling.  There is no way to tell your final shape at this stage.  In your post-op pictures I saw results--trust that more than what is happening now.  For the next weeks or even months, you will be swelling, unfortunately.  Keep up on your diet and trust your weight more than the puffiness.

Thanks for the comforting advice. I asked my co--workers if they saw a difference and none could tell till I told them. That made me feel better....

Hoe are you doing? Haven't heard from you since late Nov. it's now January 8 2015!!! Happy New year!! I hope you're doing better and you're seeing results now it's a couple of mo. ago. You were crying...do you know that's a common thing I noticed...people getting emotional after the procedure. So you're not alone. It will be fine. You should see results by 3 mo. Hang in there!! Hope to hear from you. And do post your latest photo. I'm doing tumescent Lipo in Feb. Take care!!!
