Beautiful Results from Dr. Bustillo! - Open Rhinoplasty - Coral Gables, FL

Dr. Bustillo achieved beautiful results, and gave me the nose of my dreams! Since my surgery, multiple people I've met have told me I have the "perfect nose." Even other plastic surgeons, whom I consulted with afterwards, complimented me on the results, and said they could not tell that I had ever had any work done until I mentioned it. That being said, I've since been visited by several relatives whom I hadn't seen in a few months (they've known me my whole life, and obviously knew my pre-op nose), and they didn't notice that I had changed anything! I just received a lot of compliments, and was told that I look "better than ever"! So, all in all, Dr. Bustillo achieved a "perfect nose" while still allowing me to look like myself. I couldn't be happier or more grateful!

In addition to being kind and personable, I also found Dr. Bustillo to be supremely ethical and honest. I was interested in undergoing a few other procedures (buccal fat extraction and/or chin implant), and he advised me that the outcomes (in my case) would be too subtle to justify the cost. How many plastic surgeons would actually say that?

I also made the HUGE MISTAKE of drinking a pre-workout energy drink the night before my surgery to squeeze in one last workout before several weeks of recovery. This caused me to have arrhythmia the day of surgery, and Dr. Bustillo refused to operate on me due to the risk. I was hugely disappointed, as you can imagine, but still very thankful that he was judicious enough to take every precaution with my health. After I received clearance from a cardiologist, he was kind enough to squeeze me into his schedule at 6am the following week as he was leaving soon on a vacation, and didn't have any openings until several months later. I hope this story illustrates the type of doctor he is!
