2 years later - wouldn't change a thing :)

I can't believe it has been two years already. I am still extremely happy with my explant decision. Are the girls perfect? No. One is a little smaller, they droop a bit and slope a bit on the sides where the implant once was - but it is my body and I am loving it with all its imperfections (I am imperfectly perfect). Feels so good to be in my skin.

...and feeling great. The healing continues and I notice small changes everyday. I haven't started trying on my clothes yet to see what works and what might not, but I wore a dress to a meeting yesterday that used to make me feel self-conscious, but that I felt so free in as little 'ol me. I have been waiting to try on clothes once they've settled to their size/shape, and I think I am approaching that time. I don't think they will change drastically from here, but might firm up a little everyday. I can't wait to explore all the possibilities. I used to be conscious about my implants, about what I wore, and I am free of that weight (ha). I can't wait to see what it is like to work out and do yoga without them. I love being flat/small chested and feel positive about my body as it is (it only took me 20 years of implants to get here :) And I have my period, which used to make me feel big and heavy, and I now feel light and free (and slightly emotional;). I will share photos of my incisions when I change the tape next. My surgeon recommended using the tape for up to three months to encourage healing. Mucho love and courage to all you ladies out there. Janne was amazing. Direct, honest, kind, experienced, and professional.
