CoolSculpting Ruined my Abdomen

CoolSculpting ruined by abdomen. I am one of the supposed few who get PAH (peripheral adipose hyperplasia). This is where instead of fat reduction, you get this hard scar tissue fat growth in the shape of the cool sculpting applicators. This deranged don't respond to diet and exercise and even looks more pronounced when you do lose weight. You are then stuck researching plastic surgeons you never wanted to see.
I'm part of a Facebook support group for victims of this procedure, and it's awful the numerous surgical treatments and horrible psychological impacts this side effect can have on people.
My biggest beef is that the company Allergan suggests in the consent that one simple lipo treatment will correct PAH if you've get the PAH side effect. This is false and a fraudulent claim. In fact, numerous patients need full surgical procedures like tummy tucks. Also not stated in the consent is that even after lipo removal or a surgical procedure you never wanted, the bad PAH fat CAN GROW BACK. Therefore some people require multiple procedures.
Bottom line: Don't risk it. Per all the surgeons I've consulted with to attempt correcting this: the deranged fat is difficult to work with, making a good aesthetic outcome more difficult and expensive. There's no real standard of care for treating it, and you may need multiple surgical procedures to correct it if it regrows. REGROWS AFTER LIPO! Craaaaazzzzyyyy. Ask any plastic surgeon who cares about their practice: they will tell you they won't do CoolSculpting and that correcting PAH is difficult. Avoid!
