CoolSculpting in Denver

I’m a 40 yeat old, active, child- free woman: 5’8” tall, 173lbs, and within 15-30 lbs of my goal weight. I have an athletic yet curvy build: broad shoulders, defined waist, thick booty & thighs. I lift weights 2-3 times a week and reluctantly do 25-40 min of cardio 3-4 days a week... my diet can best be described as “tries hard, but really likes pizza and margaritas”. I like my figure but have always been self conscious of m lower belly pooch. At my leanest (between 150- 160 lbs) it still bothers me.
I chose to have a consultation at Cherry Creek Medical Weightloss because they were conveniently located to me & listed as a Crystal Practice on Zeltiq’s website. Caitlyn, the nurse and Coolsculpting tech, instantly made me comfortable. She answered all my questions thoroughly and made suggestions on how I could debulk my lower abs as well as scuplt an even smaller waist, giving me the “Kardashian-esque” silhouette I wanted to enhance.
We decided to treat 4 areas with the CoolAdvantage applicators: one on the left and right of my lower abs (forming a V shape around my bellybutton) and one on each flank. They were running a buy 2 get 2 special so my initial cost for all 4 areas was $1200.
The treatment process was pretty painless and easy- I was in and out of the office within 2.5 hours. Each area was treated for 35 min- the lower abs were easy peasy- discomfort was so minimal, I wondered if the treatment was even going to work. Flanks were slightly more uncomfortable- I felt more of a warming sensation before they went numb. I read horror stories about he pain during he massage, but it just felt like a weird deep tissue massage to me: like rubbing a bruise that was also numb in some parts.
I returned to normal activities immediately. Wnt to the gym in the early morning, worked a regular 8 hour day on my feet. I was swollen so I looked like I had a food baby for a good week. The aras treated were numb which felt more odd than uncomfortable- I found wearing high waisted pants with a light to medium compression helped ease the “phantom belly” I was feeling. All in all recovery did not effect my stride in the slightest- I was back to my routine as soon as I left the office.
I might have imagined it, but I felt like I noticed my results on my flanks in 2 weeks- I feel like I just looked narrower in the waist. I could definitely see a little improvement in my lower abs in 4 weeks, especially with my profile, so when Creek Medical Weightloss sent me an email saying they were running a new deal I booked another consultation with Caitlyn. We decided to do one more treatment of one CoolAdvantage applicator just below my bellybutton.
I returned today for a second treatment on my lower abs (6 weeks after my initial treatment). Caitlyn took before and after photos and I was absolutely delighted with the results! I can’t wait to see my results from my second treatment in 8 weeks!
