Cool Sculpting - Abdomen - Skinpossible Laser & Light
This summer (2018) I decided to look into Coolsculpting and ultimately decided to treat my abdomen. My experience was entirely with Skinpossible Laser and Light in Calgary, Canada.
From consultation through the post treatment my experience was very enjoyable and I feel that the results of my treatment were completely worth it.
To start my process I worked with Nancy to get more information on the procedures available and to set me up for consultation. Nancy was amazing to work with! She is so warm, friendly, and just incredibly informative about all options that skinpossible has available to clients - and there are a lot! Once Nancy had booked me in for a consultation with Arona. Arona was fantastic to work with. She is so friendly, warm and fun! Most importantly, she has tons of humility as she is working with you on developing a treatment plan that suits your objectives and overall goals. Once I had booked in, Jordan was my Coolsculpting tech. Like the rest of the team, she was wonderful! Jordan is very friendly, knowledgeable, and ultimately was most concerned with my comfort through the procedures as achieving the best post treatment results.
Treatment: I think it is important to note that although Coolsculpting is not invasive, you are still having an aesthetic treatment facilitated. It is important to come in with realistic expectations, meaning, you will probably undress, you may be “poked and prodded” so the technicians can get the optimal results. Your problem areas will be highlighted - but don’t forget, that is the whole reason you are getting Coolsculpting. This is done so a professional can assess YOUR concerns and work with you to get optimal results that YOU want from your treatment. Also, your fat is being frozen so of course, it is not the most enjoyable sensation during or after the treatment. If you are going to try Coolsculpting, I think your best chances for an enjoyable and successful experience would be working with the Skinpossible team. All team members I had the pleasure of meeting were friendly, warm and professional. They made me happy to take the plunge and make this investment in myself.
Through my procedure and thereafter, I followed all of the team’s recommendations and some that were suggested but not necessary ie: wearing compression clothing (shapewear) on the treated area for 3 weeks post treatment. I’m very happy with the results. My attached pictures are the before and 3 months post treatment.
Overall, the procedure of Coolsculpting will be different for everyone. I felt that the biggest factor that made this experience positive was the friendly, knowledgeable, and very experienced team at Skinpossible. I would highly recommend this clinic for Coolsculpting.
