2 weeks post
About 2 weeks post procedure now, just updating with pictures. I go back for my second treatment on the 29th - I’m getting one application right in the middle. I’m very happy with my jawline so far!
Coolsculpting of the CHIN
My weight has always fluctuated my whole life - in high school I was around 155lbs, after 3 babies my highest weight was 236. Right now I'm at 145lbs. No matter what weight I am - I always have somewhat of a double chin. It's hereditary... thanks mom! After getting my tummy tuck this past March, I was at a follow up appt at my surgeons office and I saw the big cardboard advertisement for Coolsculpting and thought I'd give that a go.Two days ago I had two treatments in one session - one applicator on each side of my chin. It was the weirdest feeling at first when it suctioned to my chin. It did hurt for like 6-7 mins until it went numb. What hurt the most initially was my NECK from the position my head was in, and the brace thing behind me was heavy. My surgeons office didn't have a neck pillow or anything to give me, so I pushed the call button and the nurses did their best to shove some towels behind my neck while the treatment was going. After a little while that didn't hurt anymore either - so I just relaxed and watched Netflix on the big screen in front of me :) I read a lot of reviews that said what hurt was the massage they do after - and wow they were right. The best way I can describe it is it feels like when you put your hand in a pile of snow for a couple minutes, and then go inside and run it under warm water. That burning feeling? It felt like THAT for about a whole minute. It was almost unbearable, but once that was done I had zero pain. Now it's just tingly and numb.My results after two days are UNBELIEVABLE. I keep sending my boyfriend comparison pictures asking "you're seeing what I'm seeing right?" Just to make sure my eyes aren't playing tricks on me haha. I have another appt on the 19th for another session right in the middle, under my chin. I'm impressed with the results already, especially since most reviews I've read on RS about chin CoolSculpting haven't been great. I can't wait to see final results!
