Coolsculpting NOT worth it
ORIGINAL POST
Coolsculpting
$1,200
I gained about 30 lbs over the past year due to not being allowed to exercise for 6 months as doctors tried to determine if I had a serious heart rhythm issue. The good news is my heart is fine but my body is chonkkkkky. I also have a bleeding disorder so I decided to go with coolsculpting over lipo for my lower abdomen because no matter how thin I get that is always a problem area.
I had my procedure 2 weeks ago and see absolutely no difference. At first I thought I felt different but that was just the skin numbness. Luckily I only agreed to pay for one location/applicator at a time. $1200 (what I spent on one large applicator) seems excessive money to spend for zero results. I’ve been told to wait 30 days for the results. I’ve been crushing the gym also so I’m not sure if I’ll believe any results unless they change my shape. I’m attaching a pic of m skinny body for comparison to my current body. I am supposedly the perfect candidate. I have no stretch marks and get thin fast. My skin is tight and this is fat not loose skin.
The company that I chose is awesome though. There’s that at least. They were all super sweet and I’ll for sure return for other spa procedures. Let’s just see what happens with coolsculpting before I drop more money on that.

Follow up
I received a very nice voicemail from the company after leaving this review. It included more explanation of the process and time it takes to see results. So far they have followed up 3 times to check on me. No matter what happens with coolsculpting, this will be my go to company for any other spa treatments and injectables. Amazing customer service

I think with time you will be very pleased with the results. You have a good body type that will show great improvement with coolsculpting. It just takes time. I’d give it at least 8 to 10 weeks before you will start seeing the types of results you want to see. Hang in there, it just takes time.

It takes 2 -4 months to really see results. I didn't see anything for 8 weeks and then it was pure wow! I had it done 3 years ago and my stomach is flatter than it was when I was a teenager now. It's an amazing treatment. As long as you were really sore, it will work. drink lots of water to flush out the fat and wear compression clothing like spanx and you will have amazing results in 6 weeks.

Still nothing
I’m holding out hope that after 2 months I’ll see the real results. That’s what I’ve been hearing is the magic zone. It’s been 30 days and so far I see nothing. My thinking is that some people go to get their follow up pics and the “results” are pointed out but if I can’t see them without comparing two pictures and looking for microscopic details then I’ll consider this a waste of my money. A HUGE waste of money. $1200 dollars for one large applicator without a single result will be almost robbery in my opinion. So far I have zero results but I am confident and trusting that they will happen. As I am a good candidate for cool sculpting.

It takes 12 weeks to see a result. They did not tell you that? Some people have swelling for 2 weeks. I have done over 3000 cycles and no one sees results in 2 weeks. You start noticing results by about 3 weeks, some people 4 weeks. Patience. And you might need to do 2 treatments, im sure you knew that.

Thanks for responding! They did tell me 8-12 weeks before results. I’m only at 4 and just assumed I’d see something. But, nothing yet

Sorry correcting my post, 12 weeks to see the maximum result. Thats when the final result should be visible. Patience girl.

I’d still give it a little more time. What you don’t want to do is get another treatment. Some spa’s will say “You need another treatment to see more drastic results.” Don’t do that, you put yourself at risk for PAH, and you definitely do no want that. I’d give it another month and if you don’t see results by then I’d go speak with them about possibly getting a refund on all or at least some of your money.

If I see no results I will demand a refund and dispute the charges. I’m still not seeing any changes at all and it’s 6 weeks out.
