I gained about 30 lbs over the past year due to not being allowed to exercise for 6 months as doctors tried to determine if I had a serious heart rhythm issue. The good news is my heart is fine but my body is chonkkkkky. I also have a bleeding disorder so I decided to go with coolsculpting over lipo for my lower abdomen because no matter how thin I get that is always a problem area. I had my procedure 2 weeks ago and see absolutely no difference. At first I thought I felt different but that was just the skin numbness. Luckily I only agreed to pay for one location/applicator at a time. $1200 (what I spent on one large applicator) seems excessive money to spend for zero results. I’ve been told to wait 30 days for the results. I’ve been crushing the gym also so I’m not sure if I’ll believe any results unless they change my shape. I’m attaching a pic of m skinny body for comparison to my current body. I am supposedly the perfect candidate. I have no stretch marks and get thin fast. My skin is tight and this is fat not loose skin. The company that I chose is awesome though. There’s that at least. They were all super sweet and I’ll for sure return for other spa procedures. Let’s just see what happens with coolsculpting before I drop more money on that. Updated on 10 Apr 2019: I received a very nice voicemail from the company after leaving this review. It included more explanation of the process and time it takes to see results. So far they have followed up 3 times to check on me. No matter what happens with coolsculpting, this will be my go to company for any other spa treatments and injectables. Amazing customer service Updated on 28 Apr 2019: I’m holding out hope that after 2 months I’ll see the real results. That’s what I’ve been hearing is the magic zone. It’s been 30 days and so far I see nothing. My thinking is that some people go to get their follow up pics and the “results” are pointed out but if I can’t see them without comparing two pictures and looking for microscopic details then I’ll consider this a waste of my money. A HUGE waste of money. $1200 dollars for one large applicator without a single result will be almost robbery in my opinion. So far I have zero results but I am confident and trusting that they will happen. As I am a good candidate for cool sculpting. Updated on 3 May 2019: Still holding out hope that my money wasn’t wasted. I keep reading reviews and am slightly discouraged because almost all of them saw minor changes by now. I was supposed to have a follow up yesterday but there was no point as I track my own progress via pictures and so far see no change. Updated on 7 May 2019: It’s been 6 weeks and still zero detectable to my human eye change has happened. I’m keeping this detailed review for those considering cool sculpting. It will be awesome if my results show up within the next few weeks and I’m able to show a true timeline for people interested. I haven’t seen one on real self so far. Also, I looked at Coolsclpting Facebook page and saw HORRIBLE reviews of mostly people who saw no results and asked for refunds and were given no support by the company providing the service or cool sculpting. I will be furious if that is the case Updated on 20 May 2019: I’m at 8 weeks now and see no results that are worth $1200. Think about that amount of money. That’s not much less than I would have paid for liposuction in that single area. I went to the medspa for 6 week pictures. She came into the room and took them and then left the room to complete a collage. I wish I could’ve seen the pics before she left the room. You can see some minor and very subtle all over slimming from the exercise and diet I’d been doing but zero change to the area I cool sculpted. I’ll attach pics so that you can see for yourself. Keep in mind that I had a single large applicator placed on the lower stomach. No where else. You’ll see very subtle all over slimming. She’s stated that if I come in and treat more areas I’ll see better results. NOT A CHANCE WOULD I WASTE MY MONEY AGAIN!!!! I seriously feel beyond ripped off. I really do feel I was encouraged to believe that the results would be MORE than microscopic results I can only see in a photo (only their photos. I can’t see the same slimming in the photos I’ve taken). Had I known this would be the “result” or that every time I question the time frame for “results” a few more weeks get added for me to see “optimal changes”,I wouldn’t have spent my money on this. My final conclusion is that cool sculpting might work for some people but it is clear from these reviews, as well as looking at reviews on cool sculpting’s official Facebook page, that MANY people don’t get the results they had hoped for. Updated on 15 Jun 2019: ABSOLUTELY a waste of money. Don’t let anyone convince you that you will start to see a result if you just come get more treatment. Updated on 23 Jun 2019: 3 months out and still zero result. I have updated my review of the company. Not only did they provide a service that didn’t work as promised but they haven’t reached out to offer a free session or my money back. This isn’t a surprise if you look at coolsculpting’s Facebook page. People are finding out the hard way that this procedure is snake oil medicine. Ineffective. Updated on 24 Jun 2019: I had coolsculpting and botox done here. The botox application was very good. Quick. Painless. Nice doctor administered it. The cool sculpting was a complete waste of my money and I had such minimal results from it that I can't see them in the mirror when I look with my naked eye. They were able to show me a collage they'd put together of before and after pics that showed a minimal result. Still not worth the $1200 I spent. The staff are pretty nice. I was disappointed they didn't offer to refund my money considering my results were so inconsistent with what was advertised to expect after even just one visit. They suggested I pay for more sessions. That's a hard NO for me. They also give people $20 off their next service to write reviews. I was initially impressed with their reviews. It's important to understand this going into it. Despite the niceness of the staff, at the end of the day I feel ripped off. Snake oil. No results. I had intended to return for at least spa treatments but will not go back as I feel like they intentionally sold me something that was a complete rip off and can't trust them for other services.
