Treated area includes underjaw area where I carry extra weight/fat

I received Cool Mini from a large medspa chain. The treatment was 2.4 areas for around $1100. Treated area includes underjaw area where I carry extra weight/fat. I am a 49 year old carrying about 60-70 extra pounds (5'1" tall).

The treatment was at around 10am. Each side was treated for 45 minutes with overlap under the chin center.

The first treatment was very in comfortable for the first 10 minutes or so, then subsided. The massaging of each area post treatment was uncomfortable, especially the 2nd treatment area. The clinician said the 'butter stick', the amount of flesh pulled into the unit and 'frozen' was excellent, indicating the likelihood of a good result.

Swelling is significant the evening of the procedure. Pain is moderate and manageable. The are feels sore as if I've pulled a muscle under my jaw.

I'll continue to post updates. The anticipated optimum results should occur between 3-6 months from the treatment date.

Today a June 8, a Monday and my treatment was on Saturday. The soreness this morning is less than yesterday and the area isn’t as red. It still looks pretty swollen to me and the numbness is definitely there in all the treated areas.

Wednesday after Saturday’s treatment

The numbness is subsiding as is the swelling. The redness is gone. I still feel sore but not painful to the touch.
