I have had 3 c-sections and they have left my lower abdominal area disfigured and unflattering to say the least. I had a pooch that I could not rid of and knew I would have to have surgery to get the flat tummy that I wanted with an even scar. After many months of researching plastic surgeons in the Boston area, I found Dr. Brooke Seckel in Concord MA. His stellar expertise, board certifications, "before and after" photos and many years of experience in the field of plastic surgery lead me to a consultation. Dr. Seckel was professional and kind and took his time to understand my concerns and expectations. After my discussion with him I decided to move forward with the mini-tummy tuck and lipo. I am now 2 months post op and look incredible. When I wake up in the morning and look in the mirror I still cannot believe this is my new flat, smooth tummy. It looks better and better as the days go by. The scar is a little longer in length but is pencil thin and healing great with care. I have to mention that Dr.Seckel's associate Dr. Doherty and staff are very friendly and caring. I am now seeing them once a month for laser treatment on my scar to lighten and help in healing. I would absolutely recommend Dr. Seckel and his team as I am thrilled with my procedure.

Thanks so much for sharing your opinion about your doctor.

I would love to add your experience to the Mini Tummy Tuck community, but it would be helpful if you could provide some more detail about your experience with your procedure/treatment. I suggest adding pros and cons and/or before and after photos - optional of course, so that other community members can use your review as a guide through their journey.

Looking forward to your response so I can add your review to the Mini Tummy Tuck community.

Hello, The details of my experience for my mini tummy tuck and lipo is that after my surgery I had pain for only a few days after. It took about a week before I felt good enough to stand up straight. The sides of my waist were tingly and numb. I also had to wear a compression type garment which took some getting used to. I found the best one for me was from skinny girl by Bethany Frankel with the thong back. I have to say the drains and draining them periodically was a not fun and uncomfortable. If you have a weak stomach be prepared for this. The drains stayed in about a week. Pros: Outcome of my procedure esthetically-my tummy looks great! It is worth the recovery which took about 3-4 weeks. Cons: tubes and draining tubes, feeling a little depressed for about 3 weeks after due to anesthesia (which I hear is common)
