37 Year-old Mother of 2. (Both Breastfed) and Couldn't Be Happier With My New Figure!

I am 5 ft 4 inches tall. I did not feel like my personality matched my breasts. I felt self-conscious and was always trying to hide them. They did not make me feel sexy or youthful. They were deflated and had an aged appearance. I had 350cc Mentor round gel moderate profile plus done in the dual plane technique. The incision is very small and I will inquire about social scar cream to apply when I go to my post-op visit o n Friday. Right at this moment I feel that the implants look a bit high-profile, but I think that will probably change. I prepared with lots of Arnica Montana, mega C doses, coenzyme q10 and probiotics. I made sure I was in top form and even worked out EXTRA to make up for the days that I couldn't after surgery! :) I did have a bit more pain in recovery that was apparently due to how much I had really built up my pectoral muscles during weightlifting...oh well, :{

Well, first of all, I found reading everyone else's reviews and experiences to be immensely helpful and wanted to share my experience with others. Especially because I had such an amazing experience. I think that I truly had the two best doctors in the world...Dr. Seckel and Dr. Doherty! My husband and my mother were against the ides of me having a breast augmentation and now both of them think the results are stunning! The implants already feel like a part of me and they make me feel soooo much younger! And seriously all of my clothes suddenly look amazing on me! I am weaning off pain meds now and feeling great. I really only needed the pain meds to keep me from tensing up my upper body muscles (I was worried that any tension that I held would result in slower dropping and fluffing). I wanted to stay loose and open. I chose to stay overnight in the hospital one night (which was totally optional) and was so glad that I did. I always remembered a surgery that I had had back in college where they rushed me out of the hospital before the anasthesia had even worn off and I felt so sick the whole ride home. I really didn't want to repeat that experience and I had a gorgeous private room with a lovely view of the trees and the nurses were amazing, I think it made my husband feel that much more comfortable knowing that they were keeping a close eye on me. I was really able to relax and recover peacefully. And both Dr. Seckel and Dr. Doherty visited me in my room which was really nice. They are both incredibly nice, supportive and simply exceptional doctors. While providing perfect results they also make you feel really cared for. I feel young, pretty and vibrant again and will always be grateful to Dr. Seckel, Dr. Doherty and their amazing team!
