I went for a consultation about 6 months ago and was going to treat myself for my 30th birthday which is January 2016. My plastic surgeons office called this week saying they had a last minute opening in 2 weeks and asked if I wanted the appointment! The dates worked perfectly and I am having my BA in 2 weeks!
When i went for my initial consult a few months back i spoke with Dr. Seckel about 550 CCs. I am 6 feet tall and an athletic build but i have curves. My lower body has never matched my upper body and i have a full booty. Can't wait for the hourglass figure i have always wanted. I am hoping for a full D. i want them to be full and soft. I do like upper pole fullness but i want to look natural. I will discuss with my PS but was thinking about HP and about 550ccs. Anyone have opinion on HP vs mod+?
I am a little nervous that this is all happening all so fast but to be honest kind of happy that i don't have to wait weeks and week like other people. I already couldn't sleep last night and i know the next few days are going to be tough!
I go for my pre-op appointment on May 6th and will pay the full fee of $7500 and finalize my size, shape, etc. then. I know a lot of other people on here do a bit of preparation like change their diet to help with recovery, take vitamins, shop for surgical bras etc. What should i be doing?? I know my doctor will give me all of the things i need to do however i am eager to be prepared! Any advice? I am a fitness instructor and want to make sure i can recover quickly and return to work asap. Also i have read some people only take over the counter pain meds. Any advice on this?
Here are some wish pics and I will update soon with some pre-op pictures of me.

Before Pic

Here are some before pictures. I have a good amount of breast tissue to start with. My weight has fluctuated a lot in the past 10 years and i have struggled to stay at a weight i feel comfortable with. Right now I am 185 and i would prefer to be 170-175. My boobs have lost a lot of volume leaving me deflated. I know i don't have bad boobs to start but from all of the weight fluctuation i have large stretch marks and my skin in very loose. I would love to have more fuller breast to match my larger lower half.

Your result will look so good because you do have breast tissue and a great starting shape. Good luck!! I haven't had a BA yet I'm still doctor searching but with everything I have read and heard from doctors I would think mod+ would fit your body better and be more natural!! Your wish boobs are perfect! Is picture 1 or 5 on realself? I would like to see their profile if they are can you let me know their user name? :)

Yours are going to look awesome too! Yeah I'm definitely going to go with MOd+. I have my pre-op on Wednesday. I am super nervous. The doctor that i found is so nice and took so much time with me in my consultation, you'll know once you find the right one. I don't recall where my wish pictures came from. I have screen shotted so many! I know some are from Dr Revis in Ft Lauderdale. He does great work!

Driving After surgery-When???
tallgal450ccMay 4, 2015
Hello!
Im getting a little nervous about recovery. I have a friend driving me to and from my first appointments but I am worried that I will be home by myself most of the recovery. When will i be able to drive? I know i have to wait until i am off meds but when will i feel ok to drive and move around on my own? I don't have anyone who can come be with me... Help!

You won't be able to drive the first week...and first couple of days you won't be able to raise your arm up high. Getting up will be difficult as well. Usually the meds no needed after the 3rd day. Get your home ready before surgery, like get all you might need of the shelf. Get drinks with straws, wipes because you won't be able to shower for at least two days. Try to sleep in a recliner so you will be able to get up easier. The first two days is the hardest for everyone but I know many girls who done it alone and they did well. Good luck and keep us updated. :-)

Good advice! I'm starting to clean up and get things ready this week i'll need to get some wipes etc. Hard to believe it is actually happening a week from tomorrow! Will be more real when i pay for it all on Wednesday. Unfortunately i don't have a recliner but my couch will have to do. Ill keep you posted!

Good luck, it's overwhelming but worth it. I had my friend stay with me until my fb could come over. He stayed the first night then my 13 yr old helped with little things like opening a water bottle, doors, etc. I stopped the perks on day three & drove day four. Only Tylenol after that with muscle relaxer at night. Had my surgery on a Tuesday and went back to work the following Monday. I am a dental assistant so my job is somewhat physical. Not a desk job. I didn't go too big so I think that had a lot to do with my recovery. My friend who was with me the day of surgery had two BA & she couldn't believe I was painting my nails & put makeup on the first day. Honestly it helped to do little things like that instead of just sleeping. Lol
Everyone is different so time will tell. Best wishes & u could def pull off 500cc's ;)

My surgery is on a Tuesday also. I own my own business so when i go back to work it is really just whatever i can tolerate, hoping to be back to work on Monday for sure. Thats a good point about doing small tasks that will keep me moving. I have had many major orthopedic surgeries that were terribly painful so I'm hoping my tolerance for pain is pretty high. I am so used to being very active so i just hope i won't go nuts being in the house for that long!

Hey! First of all, it may seem like its coming fast, but honestly-the sooner you have it the sooner you will recover! I didn't drive until like 6 days after surgery, and I found it uncomfotable but doable. Taking turns would take me longer then usual cause I couldn't lift my arms to go all the way around the wheel (basically made little movements from the bottom of the steering wheel). I think everyone is different in recovery and how they feel, so it's hard to plan exactly how it will be. I would get everything you need pre-op so you don't need to go to the store for atleast a week. Don't worry, it will all be worth it!
