So the left side has dropped more and I think they look pretty even now. The right is just a smidge bigger but it's probably something I only notice. Everything is going really well except that my skin is still sooooooooo sensitive. Still feels like I have this terrible sun burn. Clothing feels uncomfortable, anything rubbing up against them feels terrible. Ugh. Starting to make me grumpy everyday, just wished they'd start to feel a little better so I could get some what of a break.

Skin is so uncomfortable!

So I'm a little over 2 weeks post-op. But for the last week my skin has been so irritated, it feels like I have a really gnarly sun burn and my bra/clothes irritate it so much. It makes me grumpy. The PA says it's caused by the nerves. Ugh. Hope it doesn't last too long.

So the physician assistant and the doctor both saw me yesterday. It was suppose to be just with the PA 'Kim' but I think all my pestering questions got the doctor's attention ????
Kim thinks the right side is still swollen therefore it's bigger. As far as the right being lower she says it's because pre-op I had an ever so slight difference between the 2 breasts and the right was lower to begin with. This difference may not go away. Am I happy with this explanation? If that explains the nipples being a little different that's ok ( bc really it's less than 0.5" if that) but I'm not sure I believe the swelling is causing the right to be bigger and lower. I hope that these differences will just even out with the upcoming weeks/ months. It's hard to be patient and trust it'll all be ok in the end (even though you read and read how it will!)
Anyways other than that they both felt the breasts are doing really really well, far ahead of where they expected in terms of dropping and softness. I do not need to continue massages but I should continue wearing a wire bra for 6-8 weeks. I get to start the Embrace silicone strips now. Yay!
