I was so excited to get the chin and lower face...

kssevern
$2,000
I was so excited to get the chin and lower face done with Ultherapy. Dr. Dorner told me I was a excellent candidate for this. The procedure itself took about an hour. Wasn't really painful. Some redness to the area afterwards. My chin felt numb for about a week. As the months went on I decided in wasn't seeing any improvement. I called the office and went in to view the before and after pics. I was 6 months out from procedure. The lady took the pics and we viewed the before and afters on the computer. Absolutely no change at all. I was just so sick to my stomach that I had waisted $2000.00 that took me months to save. I just wanted to cry. I asked the lady if they would redo the procedure since it didn't work on me. She said I'd have to pay another $2000.00!! Unbelievable!! I said if I would have know before hand I would have just spent the money on chin lipo. At least I would have seen results with that. She agreed.

I feel so sad for this lady.Hopefully she'll see results.May just take a bit longer for collagen to rebuild. Good luck!

No. The woman at the office said it probably won't . It's been about 7 months now and nothing. I'm just upset because they want me to pay to redo something that is obviously now working for me. If they would do it over maybe I'd see something!!!

I can only imagine how disappointed you are.I notice that some before and after pictures have dramatic results and some are more subtle. Also, I thought results would last longer than a year.

They have to pay for the transducers so they can't re-do for free. I am sorry you didn't get the result you were looking for. I have nothing but raves to say about Ultherapy. I just feel so grateful this technology was created just as I began to age! I'm not an expert but there does seem to be a wide margin in between those that see a result and those that a don't. One thought, I don't know your age but Ultherapy treats collagen. If you were looking for it change the contour of your neck but it wasn't age related then it wouldn't have been what you needed to begin with. I say that because you mentioned lipo...Just a thought.

Okay, sorry I just looked at your photo. You would have needed to do the whole neck as well to see lifting. Imo.

At the least they should give you $2000 credit on other services. No reason at all for this doctor to take your money when you have no results! Shameful. If they refuse, take them to small claims court and get your money back.

I agree that the doctor should do more to resolve this. Seems that for that amount of money there should be some compensation. Seeing no results at all is very strange.I hope that practice does the right thing

I just had Ultherapy done about a month ago. I'm sorry you didn't get the results you were looking for. I am quite pain tolerant so I opted for just the advil. There were still a few times that made my eyes water. After the procedure (which lasted almost two hours with the doctor) he told me that due to my pain tolerance, he was able to use the highest (most effective) setting the entire time. He said initially that Ultherapy had only one setting, (he did/does some of the trials for Ulthera) but that it was too strong for most people so in the following upgrades, they added lighter/less effective settings for those who felt too much pain. I know $2,000 is a lot of money to save, but I'm just wondering if you try it again, to maybe use a different provider. I asked my doc about the differences of Ultherapy due to administration. He chuckled a bit and agreed, that yes, depending on the person who administers the Ultherapy as well as the pain tolerance of the patient, there could be a wide range of results. I'm not trying to say that your Ulthera wasn't done correctly, just that there is always a chance and if this is what you want, before you spend more money here, go consult another doctor, explain your experience and see if there is hope for a better result somewhere else. Best to you. I don't know if mine is going to work, but I keep my fingers crossed.

Really great to see empathy from other patients. Just helps knowing other people are taking time to offer experience and advice to her

It's a procedure I'm definitely interested in.At 56 starting to see some sagging in jawline and drooping eyelids which give me an angry look. But this is such a relatively new procedure not sure about results or how long improvements will last. Good luck & keep us updated

Thanks for letting others know! I had the same thing and the results lasted a very short time for all the money spent. This procedure is worthless.

Yes. I feel the same. I now have to spend another $2000.00 on chin lipo. I should have just done that in the first place!!

Well, we live and learn. In 2000 I spent $8000 for varicose vein procedure (my legs would be vein free!) A few months later I was right back where I started.Just devastating. Do all your homework and best of luck
