Muscle stretching

I am close to 6 weeks post op. In the morning when I wake up my stomach muscles pull uncontrollability like they are morning stretching. Anyone else experience this?

Mine do that. I stand and my whole body starts contracting. I think we have not been stretching since surgery and our bodies are desperately wanting to stretch, contract and relax. It's pretty freaky to get up and want to stretch/contract but afraid to do damage. I've felt that with other surgeries as well.

15 days post op accidental drain pull

I was excited to get my drain removed tomorrow then .... Opps I accidently pulled it out this morning as I was getting out of bed. Be very careful! That was way to easy! I didn't even notice until I stood up looking for my drain!'nn

Thank you! It took me a good 3 weeks. It has been over four weeks and sometimes if I do a lot of walking I find myself slouching over :) day by day
What is your height? And what was your pre-op weight? My stomach is quite similar to your pre-op. I have had one consult a couple of years ago and am now scheduling a second hoping to get the courage to have the procedure the first part of next year...still have some concerns.

How long did you take off work? Do you have a desk job? I'm taking a week off. Hope it's long enough.
I took 12 days off and that was barely enough. I do have a desk job but also get up to see patients a couple times a day. There was still a lot of swelling with going back. Just pay attention to what your body is saying
