I'm ready to feel like the old me! I've searched several doctors and entertained traveling out of the country. I have health issues (that are managed) but it's safer for me to travel. My PCP was totally against me traveling, after further consideration I agreed. I will do my "rounds" in phases. Let's get to the flat side together!

Waiting on my surgery packet to arrive in the mail. My husband is trying to cast doubt on my choice of doctor. I think it's because I've been searching for Dominican Doctors for so long he is expecting the results of Dr. C to be comparable to Dr. Lima Vargus (my choice if I traveled). I'm satisfied with my choice although I do have questions about his post op suggestions. No faja or massages? I want the best results possible so do I go with his recommendations or follow the suggestions of my research?

I heard that he suggest the binder that is given for the first 4 weeks. however after that you can switch to the faja if you like. I personally will probably wear a faja because I am also getting my thighs done so im going to need more compression. My fiance is the same way. Ive been showing him work from Dra. Medina that when I showed him Dr. Cochrans work he was like are you sure you're going to be satisfied with that???? YUP if Im not then when I get my BBL, ill just go to Dra. Medina then.

oh, and for massages he tells you to self massage so i figure its the same thing as someone else doing it for me, right?! lol

Right! I have already located places in Columbus so that I can't start before I get back to Atlanta. I want the DR snatch so I'm going to treat my post op care as if I was in the DR.

Congrats! Excited for your surgery coming up quickly! I had a bbl last year and I was told to always follow your doctors orders. Every doctor does things differently for different reasons and just my opinion I think you should listen to your doctors pre op and post op instructions good luck

I got my surgery packet! So this is really real. I've been emailing Gail about some concerns I was having, she's been quick to respond. I will keep my PCP in the loop because he was apprehensive anyway. We are like an old married couple he's suggesting diet and exercise and I'm like yeah that too but this tummy tuck is happening so get over it.
