I am a very private person, so me doing this review is tough, but so many ladies have helped me in this journey that I thought it necessary to pay it forward. I am a 43 yr old mom of 3 kids (11, 9, and 7). I work out 6 days a week (normally running 2.5-3 miles each day). My current weight is 155 lbs., I'm 5"1. I have had a hernia since childhood, but it became more prominent and problematic with child bearing. I honestly didn't understand why my weight was getting in check with the exercising but the tummy area would not cooperate. A doctor's appointment informed me of the muscle separation along with the hernia. I am so tired of looking pregnant especially when I am working so hard to get in good physical shape. I think I am pretty close to my natural weight- as I carry a lot of my weight in my hips and thighs.
I have looked over many, many reviews for many, many doctors and finally decided to go with Dr. Sumanth Pagadala. My procedure is scheduled for Dec 27 at 8:00 am. We will be driving to the Columbus area on the 26th and stay for a couple of days there and then return home. I am about a 2.5 hour drive from Columbus. Surgery has been paid for and lab work has been turned in so everything is a go. I am working now to get all of my post surgery things together- including preparing meals for the family. I am like most others doing this type of procedure- I'm anxious and excited at the same time.

Counting Down
LYNN KSDecember 23, 2017
Okay on Tuesday 12-13-17, I made my final payment and turned in all of my lab work- which I paid out of pocket- everything has been given the go ahead. Now I turn to post surgery needs and set up; -this includes preparing a few meals for the family and getting any items I may need.
I will be staying in Columbus the Tuesday before the surgery (pre-opt meeting at 2:00) and then staying the night of the surgery, then we will be coming home (husband is caretaker- kids at home with my mom). I just think it would be easier for me especially if I’m going to feel really groggy and nauseated. I’ve been so busy that I have not had time to sit and dwell on things, but it’s definitely in my thoughts daily.
My post-surgery supplies in attachment.
*Anika Forte
*Neosporin
*Gauge Pads
*Female Urination Devices
*Heating Pad
*Arnica Gel
*Bio-Oil
*Lanyard
*Exam Gloves
*Lipo Board
I have a recliner with a foot stool that I will be using. Its not a traditional recliner, but I did not want to a purchase a recliner that I don't have space for afterwards. I do have old pillows and blankets to use for any leakage.

Kinda Freaking Out......
LYNN KSDecember 25, 2017
Thoughts are almost consumed with the outcome of the surgery both good and bad. Just when I think I'm okay I see some really bad review or outcome (not my doctor) and I'm back to being freaked out all over again. Praying for peace of mind and a good outcome.
