I am currently 130 lbs, 5’4”, 34B. I believe my BWD is 13. I have met with 3 plastic surgeons and chose to use Dr. Bivik Shah in Columbus, Ohio for my breast augmentation. I have one more appointment coming up on Feb 19 and we will decide on a final size. At the moment I am thinking 475cc, HP, Mentor, Silicone, under the muscle, inframammary incision. I am starting to get a little nervous. I have read tons of reviews and done a lot of research the past year. I’ve read a lot of happy reviews, but I’ve also read a lot about people explanting for various reasons. It makes me very nervous not knowing for sure if I will be happy with my results, but I do trust my surgeon and will discuss all my concerns with him at my upcoming appointment. He has been great about communicating with me via email thus far. I have attached my wish pics, which all came from this site ;). I hope that’s ok. Final appt before surgery!

Finalized everything today with my surgeon. We have decided on 500cc’s. They did measurements in the office today. There were a lot of measurements so I didn’t even ask all the details on that. My surgeon did offer a newer silicone implant to me because I am really looking to achieve upper pole fullness. I decided not to opt for the newer implant because it felt a bit firmer to me and I was afraid it wouldn’t feel as natural. I cannot remember the name of the implant, but they explained it as an in between option for HP and UHP. So, the count down is officially on! Only 9 more days!!! Hopefully I can stay healthy. My husband and son have both been sick with the flu.

I hope your husband and kiddo are recovered from the flu. It’s so hard to have the other parent down for the count when you also have a little one that’s sick.

Thank you. They are both better now. Thankfully! I was so worried about them having the flu and then also it being so close to my surgery, but all is well now :). I’m super excited for Wednesday!

Did they offer the new Mentor ExtraHP? Would you have to pay more?

Yes they did offer it to me and it was going to be $500 more. I chose not to use it because it’s newer and I hadn’t seen any reviews on it. It seemed firmer and I felt like maybe it projected a little more.

3 more days and I’ll officially have boobies ????!!! Getting a bit nervous and excited! More nervous about the outcome than the pain. Really hoping to achieve upper fullness without any revisions. I changed my size back to 475cc. Praying all goes well!

Thank you so much! The lady that did my mammogram said the same thing. Lol! I told her she was making me second guess myself. I’m lacking the upper pole fullness, which is what I’m really hoping to accomplish with this surgery.

Thank you! I have to leave my house at 4:30 am in order to get to the surgery center by 6:30. I’ve been trying to get some sleep, but it’s impossible. So, I’ve been reading everyone’s journey here on RS. Lol!

Thank you! I’m on my way to the surgery center now. Slept about 4 hours. I’m not quite as nervous as I thought I would be. That may change in a little bit. Lol!
