Hey ladies here's my full review on dr salamas recovery house. I booked about a week prior due to some changes of where I was originally going to stay. I wasvsuppposed to stay from Sunday to Sunday. A few days before arrival I was told that Justin the driver couldn't pick me up from airport and I'd have to get a taxi or uber. Never done either. I was pissed, was never told why. Picking up and taking to airport is included in price btw. I also learned that when it's time for me to go home is have to call an uber as well bc of the darling morning time. Wth! Ready getting off to bad start. This is the most expensive RH I'd ever seen. For 7 nights it's $1800 I believe. Paying that, they should've been able to pick me up. Anyways, I arrive at RH on Sunday around 230 p.m. and was greeted by the nicest sweetest lady named Bobbi. All I'm thinking is this is going to be so nice. She immediately makes a delicious panini and salad. She introduced me to a few girls who were in living room. One in particular, we really hit it off and became cool. Bobbi showed me to my room etc. Spent the rest of the day talking to other ladies then preparing for surgery for first thing in a.m. I woke up on my own around 4, talked with Bobbi and Justin came and picked me up. He told me what the protocol was and had the nerve to yell me do not show any wish pictures to Dr salama. I asked why? He said bc Dr salama hates it and he will not give you what's on that pic. Im thinking Cynthia asked me to send wish pics and yo show dr salama wat I wanted. Meet the Dr and I didn't show him in fear of way Justin said and I'm kicking myself for not. Ok fast forward to Justin picking me up after surgery and getting back to RH. I was greeted by A female named Janine who was another care taker. Bobbi was gone for the week. Janine takes me to my room and tells me i will go into different room later on. I went right to sleep bc I was so out of it. I wake up and have to pre so bad. I go to the new room across the hall but I only made it to the bed. One of the girls sees me and says let me help u to the bathroom. She helped me and I had to instantly lay back on bed. Here comes Janine. I've only been back to RH for not even 2 hours since surgery and it goes down hill from there. She comes in the room pissed bc I'm laying on wrong bed. Mind u I have no room mates. I said I couldn't make it to other bed. She was pissed, yanking sheets off bed being so nasty. I am in shock. Ladies who have done this surgery know the out of it feeling I'm referring to after this surgery. Imagine being treated like this in the state you're in. Anywho, I said I'm sorry. I didn't mess up the bed etc. She's pissed and I'm like wth did i get into. So about 10 min later the same girl who helped me use the bathroom came bck in to check on me. I said I'm so hot. I had a robe on. No bra underneath, just garment. She asked me if I brought a t shirt or something. I said yes. Here comes Janine back in my room confronting other girl way shevwas doing in here and way the problem was. So she tells janine, she's hot. Janine starts attacking me verbally saying you cannot take off your garment. She went on and on. I said I don't want to take it off, just my robe. The girl couldn't take it and left. Janine left too. I am so upset inside like this can't be happening. I stayed in my room rest of day. Then comes Irene, Janines mother. Janine leaves and Irene was okay with me, emptied my drains and told you're going to have to learn to do this by yourself. Janine told me same thing earlier. Fyi. Janine and Irene will just in your room constantly. They never knock. You will feel like a prisoner. Every last girl in that house felt that way. If you're on phone, there's no excuse me, they just interrupt. So day 2, which is Tuesday. I have an 11 appt for follow up. Of course I don't see Dr salama. Very nice ladies look at everything and one nurse was about to stuff the foam in my garment but a last came in and said no, she's staying at RH so they can do it for her there. I return to RH. I say to Irene, the nurses said to ask u to help me with these. She was pissed. She wanted to know which nurses, what did they look like and names. Lol. I said I don't remember. As she roughly started forcing them in my garment hurting me, she's staying you're going to have to learn to do this yourself. Let me back up. An hr b4 leaving for my alot, irene was cleaning all the rooms. I got back and mine was the only one not cleaned. I still had bloody chucks on my bed. They're supposed to change it twiceva day. Mine has never been washed. I still had bloody garment and robe that stated that way since I could no longer take it and left Wednesday nite. So Tuesday we gather for lunch, before other girls game, irene wanted to know how much I paid for RH. I said I don't remember and I told her I may leave sooner than sun. The other ladies came in and everything got worse from there. She meddled in every convo. Started becoming very nasty to the girls especially 1 in particular. One girl wanted to help her roommate and got in trouble several times. Ladies we fended for ourselves and eachother. They won't help you. One girl damn near passed out in bathroom for 25, she couldn't get up. Irene did nothing, went I'm there, saw her, and left. Terrible. I was telling my mom on the phone everything that was transpiring outside privately in the back yard. I look over at a window and Irene is in the bathroom with window up listening to me. I knew it was bad, very bad day was going on. If one of the girls came in my room, there was Irene making them leave and same with me. It was prison there. Janine didn't make thongs any better. In those 4 days that I was there, they were there at same time for the most part except night. Wednesday Janine and Irene double teamed us. Just awful. They did everuthing to make all of us miserable and uncomfortable. Wednesday evening 1 girl wrote a long email to Nomie, telling her everything that went down and sebt it wednesday evening. We all read e-mail. Also for 2 days Irene pestered me when I was leaving. I couldn't believe it. How hateful these 2 were. Irene was talking on phone and was talking about us to someone. Let me stop and say this. The ladies in the house including me were all sweethearts, genuine nice people. I now have made bonds with these ladies and talk daily. Not one time did any of these girls become rude for the treatment and we all should be but guess what we were all vulnerable. They knew it and took advantage. Here we are trying to heal and they made it a nightmare for us. Girls there's more, it's too much I could write a book. We all want everyone to know go elsewhere. Bring a friend or family member, save your money, stay at hotel. We should be recovery in a stress free place but u won't there. Let me state this as well. From research, this has gone on every week before we got there and every week since we all left. I will not state names of how I know this but it a last from Dr salamas office who told me after I told her what happened to me. I gave my word i would never put her out there. Nothing will ever be done about this bc they know these ladies and are friends and gave them a job. Smh. Now there are a few who get lucky and won't endure the wrath of Irene and Janine. They want to keep everyone separated so they don't talk to eachother. I had an uber come get me on wed and stayed at hotel close to massage place bc I needed to make my Thursday appt. I told nomie everything that happened. She said she's never had complaint regarding RH. Lies! One girl sent email previous night and on wed one of the girls 3rd the whole office war had been happening. Check this. The day she did that before she even got back to RH, simeone from that office called janine and told jer what the girl just said about her and her mom and THE second she gets back to RH, Janine confronted her! What kind of mess is that? All in.all, recovery was horrible. Nobody deserves this. This isn't the end. I'm going to write a letter to Dr salama. The other girls are not letting what happened there, them get away with it. They want everyone to know so we can help out the next lady. Any questions, feel free to ask.
