I went to my consultation with Dr. Simmons last week. He was very kind and nice. I decided to go with this procedure based off of his last Permalip patient's results. I can't decide if I want to go with 4mm on my top lip and 5mm on my bottom lip or 5mm on both. My payment is due a week before surgery. It's $2k...but the patient before me paid $1,800? So I will have to talk to the office about why my procedure will be $200 more. I'm excited about this I'm praying everything turns out great. Dr. Simmons even squeezed me into his holiday schedule that way I'll be healed by Christmas :)

Hi there, I am also excited to see your results!! I am curious about cost as well, seems like every doctor I find a quoted price for here on RS seems to go up when I actually call or email for quote!!!!! Very frustrating!! So please keep me posted on price!

Yes I find it odd about the pricing. I ended up paying 2k but when I asked last week I was told it was for a reason why their previous patient had to pay only $1,800 & that she couldn't discuss other patients privacy.

I want to go to him as well and I was scared they would try to do a price increase but when I called they told me 1800$ but I can't wait to see your pics! Honestly I would Prob go with a 5 mm on top and a 4 on bottom bec it gives more of a plump look when I get fillers I get more in top lip

He's a great and gentle and friendly surgeon :) and I ended up getting 5 on top and bottom but I'm curious to why you got a quote for a lower cost? :/

Please we dont need ur negative attitude here on realself. This site isnt for u if ur against plastic surgeries. She looked great before and she still looks great imho.

I think cosmetic surgery has it's place and feel no negative attitude towards those who can and need support to improve their self esteem. However this women was/is gorgeous and sure didn't need her lips enlarged. I can't imagine why she felt she needed to improve on what already was perfect.

Too bad just called for a price expecting to pay close to same as you, and it went up to $3,500 with Dr. Simmons for 5mm Permalip uppers and lowers under local anesthetic.

Day of treatment
Before and 4 hours post operation :)
Dr. Simmons and Ms. Julie were very nice and gentle. My surgery went smoothly I had very low pain. I was prescribed 4 prescriptions and the pain I did have has disappeared :) so far good.

Your lips were perfect can't wait to see the end results! I am getting consultation on Wednesday and I'm actually so nervous. i have thin lips and want 5 mm just hope that I don't get a duck like look

Thank you so much! & don't be nervous! I was nervous also but there was no reason to be. Everything went smooth :) and tell your surgeon what your looking for and he'll help you pick the right size

Ice is really helping me with my swelling. I don't have vaseline to put on my lips so I've been using 100% coconut oil since it's a natural moisturizer :)
