Hey all! I'm looking to get a mommy makeover done this summer. I'm super excited but also very nervous. I'd like to make a surgery buddy so we can share our experiences at the same time and keep each other motivated. I'm going to post some pictures of the old me and the current me. Leave a comment!!

You are going to be so happy with the TT!!! I had mine to have loose skin removed but had the muscles pulled together too. Turns out correction of the muscles is my favorite part of the outcome. I don't have a bulge of the tummy in clothes anymore and see my pre-baby tummy again. Sooooo worth it! First 2 1/2 weeks of recovery suck....if your kids are young have help 24/7. Best of Luck!

Thanks for the advice!!! I know I'm going to be happy with the correction of my muscles. I've put it off for so long and I'm tired of rude people asking if I'm pregnant or not. Smh. How was the total recovery? How long did it take for you to feel "normal" again? I'm taking a week long graduate credit course (it's chemistry, so no major movement except walking to class from my car) 3 weeks after the surgery. I should be ok for that right? I'm also teaching virtual online school this summer. I should be ok for that too right? Thanks for all of your advice.

3 weeks just walking to class will feel good. The week of surgery I slept a lot. My husband said I was just out of it the first few days ( painkillers maybe). I wouldn't teach a virtual class until you are off meds. You will be able to function ( non-exercise) normal by week 3 but tightness, numbness, feeling pulling on the scar and swelling kept me from feeling "normal" for almost 6-8 weeks. I felt dramatically better ever week of recovery ( minus my major swelling days at about 2 1/2 weeks). Beyond 8 weeks, I don't even think about it unless I'm dressing and adding scar cream. It is so worth it!!!

Hey, it's 14,500 for all three procedures. Super expensive but I know it will be worth it! What all do you want done?

I'm not sure how much lipo is because I don't need that but I'm sure it's not much more than the other procedures. Are you looking to see Dr. Sexton as well?

I'm going to see my Dr today and hopefully they will approve me to have breast implants with a lift and a tummy tuck!!! I'll report back later and let you know what he said!!! I had umbilical hernia repair surgery in December and I hope that won't keep me from getting this surgery. I still have some pain from that surgery but it's really not that bad and it doesn't come around often. I can't wait Y'all!

So, the doctor said I am a great candidate for the tummy tuck and breast lift. I decided not to get implants because my boobs are naturally a D cup and he said they will still have their fullness once they are lifted. My umbilical hernia repair surgery will most likely not affect this procedure. My surgery date is scheduled for July 6th and the total cost is 10,500 dollars. I am excited and ready!!!
