Month 3

No more squishy sound when I run! Yay! Not much has changed, they are softer and that's about it. I still don't have a lot of feeling in the ole nips, my left is starting to get a little feeling back but my right one is still pretty numb. The scars are still pretty red though so I know I'm still healing. Not all that pleased with the over all look of them, they still look a little like torpedoes which is not what I was going for. But over all I'm still glad I did it. Finally have the strength back that I lost after taking that 6 week break. I'm close to my pre surgery speed as well.

8 weeks

So my boobs and I are one! Haha what I mean is they now feel like a complete part of me, I don't even think about them anymore. They have dropped quite a bit and are super soft now. Not feeling much the nipple department but I know that can take a while to come back. No pain no aches. Running is a little different, I have to wear two sports bras but other than that I don't notice them. I've always felt so damn unbalanced and it feels wonderful not to feel that way anymore. It was totally worth doing. I didn't have boob greed like some women do but I think that's because I was going for a balanced look, something that fit my frame and didn't take over and since I'm a little on the short side I think they look just right. I've gained some weight since the surgery about (5 pounds) but I working to drop that.

Week 6

The past week or so I've noticed more changes. My breasts have dropped a little bit but more encouraging is the fact that they "feel" softer. More like natural breasts. The morning ache I've come to expect is just about gone as well. I ran today and did a jump rope circuit. I could feel the implants jiggling around (if that makes any sense) I'm sure I'll get used to it, I had to double up on sports bras but that's ok. Feels great to be working out again. I wore a push up bra the other day, when I first put it on I scared the hell out of myself. I've been wearing sports bras and baggy clothes for six weeks and the difference was jarring. But I felt good, more confident than I have in a long time.

Dr Sexton was very straight forward, my initial visit with him went so well I didn't even look for a different Doc. He was very patient with me (I was still in the over/under internal conflict) He's been doing this for over 20 years so I feel comfortable know my doc has a lot of experience.
