Aligners are shipped
I got an email yesterday morning that my aligners had been shipped! I should be getting them tomorrow, which is a week sooner than what I was expecting. The countdown begins

-9/27/16- Update on aligners: Since I haven't received any updates yet, I decided to chat with a representative. Brandon checked the status of my aligners, and said I should get them by the week of Oct. 16th!

Hoping to fix my overbite, crowding on bottom...
Hoping to fix my overbite, crowding on bottom teeth, crooked tooth on top teeth, and also some spacing. (Will upload photos later)
-5/10/17- Ordered impression kit for $49 and uploaded photos, which got approved exactly 5 minutes later.
-5/12/17- Got impression kit, which took me about a week to open because of a very busy schedule.
-5/23/17- They emailed saying they got my impressions and are reviewing them.
-5/30/17- I need to do a retake, but after a week of waiting, they never come.
-6/3/16- I get an email saying to order my retake kit now and they'll waive the $49 fee, so I reorder it.
-6/7/17- Retake kit is on the way. This time I do my impressions right away
-6/16/17- I get ANOTHER email saying I need to do a retake. By this time I'm pretty upset because I feel like I won't ever do it right. I didn't order another kit until they sent an email about getting a free one, just in case I don't get it right again.
**Retake got sent to my old address even though I updated my info before ordering retake kit, so I never got it. I called and they sent me one right away.**
-8/2217- Once again, retake kit is on the way. I made sure to watch the videos on the website this time, and carefully but firmly push the trays into my mouth without biting down. I think that was my problem the last two times.
-8/30/17- They received my impressions and are reviewing them. I was trying to not get too excited, but I think I finally got them right this time.
-9/14/17- After having to retake my impressions three times, they finally got approved! I got my "welcome to the club" email, and I should be receiving my aligners in about 4 weeks. I was about to give up if they didn't get approved the third time around, so it was a huge relief that they did.
-9/21/17- I get an email saying "Your smile is in the oven (printer). They say it should take about 4 weeks to get my aligners delivered to me. After reading other SDC members posts, I'm hoping to receive the next email about my aligners going through the "science" phase, in about 6 days. ill update as soon as I get it!
Also I've noticed that my patient portal gets updated before I get emails, so I've been checking that every day. (multiple times a day out of pure excitement)
**My treatment plan will last about 6 months, and will total $1,988.00**
