I have started to notice that my complexion has gotten terrible over the past two years or so. I have started to get lots of brown spots, as well as red patches. My dermatologist prescribed me a cream which didn't make a difference. I decided to take the plunge with IPL to see if I can reverse some of the damage.

Just my two cents as someone who underwent IPL damage- if you can cover something with makeup then really think long and hard about IPL the damage it can cause can be devastating.

You can view my profile or search on Real Self there are many of us here who had IPL leave behind worse skin texture. The most common complaint I hear is that it can make your skin texture look 10 years older. Usually starts to surface as the weeks and months go on.

I'm done with my BBL/IPL facial. It didn't hurt, but felt like a spark on my skin. The plastic surgeon used a different machine for my moles/raised dark spots. She said the results would be visible in about a week.
