Really love my shape even through the swelling and bruising!

12-8-2021 touch ups

So it’s been 3 years and 6 months since my initial mommy make over. I was and still was very happy with my results.

I went in for a scar revision initially which turned into ab lipo, then I added back lipo and then decided on chin lipo and last minute added fat grafting to my breast to round them out a bit.

Went a little lipo crazy but I figured I don’t want to have more surgery for a long time so I might as well address all my concerns while I was under and had the funds.

Cost; 11,000

I really love my doctor but I think his crew needs a little break or maybe a crash course in good bedside manner.

People coming out of surgery and been hard to work with, I’m sure I’m no exception. But both times I’ve been in I have not enjoyed my experience coming out of surgery. I didn’t appreciate the way I was talked to. I was expected to be ready to go a couple hours later but I wasn’t allowed to raise my hands to my face and start coming out of my grogginess. Felt tension and condescension from both of my nurses (from 2018 and 2021). I liked this last one the best of the two that handled me and cared for me closely. But it would not hurt to have them treat their patients with more motherly care.

Since covid, no one is allowed to have their partner or parent in the room so it would be nice if that person that was with them could try and treat them as their own and not say patronizing things while they are in pain, trying to wake up and follow directions.

I understand that these gals deal with this every day; and my nurse this last time let me know she’s been in surgery “over 30” times. But people like me don’t do this every day. I don’t plan on it. Yes it’s elective but it’s not fun to have such intense surgery and not get to just sleep the rest of the day.

Also my hair was just a rat nest and I just wanted to make sure I didn’t hav to walk around looking like a homeless person the whole day and just simply asked for help with it. But she acted like it was a ridiculous request. I mean here’s the thing; the girls coming in here are a bit vain, no? So I don’t think it’s a stretch for the girls to not want to walk out of there with their hair in a giant knot on their foreheads for the entire day.

I work in hospitals often and I’ve seen some bad bedside manner, worse than what I’m describing. However I’ve also see much better done for people in much less pain and worse conditions.

All I’m saying is it would not kill them to reconsider how they treat people coming in paying their hard earned cash on something that is so life altering. Thousands of dollars should get you a little farther than poor attitude after the surgery.

18 months post op

I’m about 18 months post op and I still love my results. I still have loose skin in places and I am going back for a scar revision and possibly some lipo. Still get swollen and still feel tight sometimes when I’m working out and such. But I love my results.
