I'm feeling so much better. There is still a tiny...

I'm feeling so much better. There is still a tiny bit of soreness along the sutures and my breast tissue is pretty tender, but things are normalizing and I feel like me again. Initially, my breasts were a little smaller than before the augmentation, so I may have had some tissue atrophy, but I think they are starting to bounce back. I was so worried that my breasts would sag, be deformed, etc. But I think that not going too big with the implant, and the fact that I only had them for about 6 months, has really helped. More importantly, I am getting my health back, which is amazing! I am starting to feel good enough to get a job again! I will have a little more healing to do before returning to running, but I am currently able to hike and do yoga. It will be two weeks as of this coming Thursday, since my ex plantation. Although sometimes I worry that my husband might miss me with implants, I can't imagine that he will miss how exhausted , low libido, and depressed I was. There was actually a time when I thought I might never get better, which was terrifying. I don't know what it was about the implants that was making me so sick, but for the record, severe nickle and other skin allergies run in my family, so who knows? Without more studies and information, (though I've done a ton of research on implants) I can't say for sure that all implants are bad. I can only speak for my experience and all I can say is that getting implants was a terrible mistake for me! I'm so happy to be rid of them and getting my health back day by day! Also, I want to thank all of you ladies who have been so brave and shared your experiences. You all helped me tremendously, when I was in the process of making the decision to explant. Thank You all! Photos to come.

I actually found Dr. Speirs while reading reviews on real self. I made the decision to have my implants removed even though they looked great and were implanted by a top notch surgeon, for a few reasons. My health begain to fail, I experienced extreme fatigue, depression, hair loss, brain fog, and loss of sex drive. I also lost the ability to train, run and work due to the debilitating fatigue. I had always been really healthy before. Also, the implants were uncomfortable and felt unnatural in my body. Dr. SPeirs did a fantastic job and although I am only a few days out from the proceedure, my breasts are looking good. I was terrified of sagging and stretch marks but my implants were not big, I went from A to C, I'm pretty young at 29, and have good skin elasticity. I really liked all of the staff at Dr. SPeirs office and Dr. SPeirs has a great bedside manner and he is a very kind person. I am so pleased with the results and the cost of explantation was reasonable. My only regret is that I spent so much money on getting the implants in the first place. LUckily for me, I found a great doctor and got a very good result. I would highly reccomend Speirs Clinic for Plastic Surgery!
