I was quite concerned about having the Voluma...
I was quite concerned about having the Voluma injected above my cheekbones - afraid I would end up looking like a chipmunk because in photos these days, it appears that my face is getting wider. Yet - I LOVE how I look! The Voluma just brought up sagging skin really that had started to settle downwards. Dr. Christian Ford, Cohasset, MA, had recommended it to me a while back & was not pushing it on me - just mentioning that I would look a bit better & was he ever right! Friends are saying I look younger ( now I've also had some Botox around my eyes, a smidge around my forehead (so I still have smile/laugh/frown lines when expressive) also Botox has relaxed some strong deep lines above my lip.
Then, finally Dr. Ford has injected Juvederm around my "marionette lines" . I know it all sounds like a slippery slope of more & more - but I look 10 years younger and feel fabulous - so it's all worth it & certainly not the pain of a facelift or anywhere near the cost!!

Dr. Ford looks at one's face with the eye of the artist as well as a physician. He has never mentioned to me a procedure that I eventually did not want, even if initially I was reluctant. I've been very happy with his calm, unhurried demeanor and supportive attitude.
