Went to my pre-op yesterday where nurse went over all the day of & day after checklists. She took measurements for my compression garment and talked about surgery day meds. She was very nice, explained everything, and answered all my questions. Have her email in case I think of anything between now and surgery day - which is nice.

Procedure is just over a week away. Adding my measurements (from GC fitting) and a few picture taken at home.
Contour 30.5
Waist 29.5
Belly button 35 - yep, bigger than my chest :(
Hips 38
I wear a size 9/11 junior or 8 women's and weigh 140 - which is a little too high. 136 is my happy weight - and even at that weight the belly button measurement didn't change. I have always had that lower belly pooch no matter what I weigh. At my thinnest I had a form fitting dress on and was congratulated on being pregnant. No more tight clothes. I wear lots of loose t-shirts and sweaters to cover it up.

Wishing you luck as your surgery date draws near. I am day 6 post op for similar procedure. I think you are much taller than I am but your figure appears similar. So far I am happy with my results. I am still bruised and swollen but I can see a difference and am looking forward to my true contour in the upcoming weeks. If I can help by answering any questions about my experience and journey so far, please don't hesitate to ask. I

Oh thanks for commenting!! I knew I was forgetting info in my stays - I'm 5'6.
Are you taking anything for pain or has it been manageable? And how has the CG been?? Honestly I think that's what I'm most apprehensive about - I am not a fan of tight clothes or layering! !

I took pain medication days 1 and 2 then took pain medication at night days 3 and 4. Not taking anything now. Just Advil when I'm super sore - swollen. I hate the CG. I feel like it doesn't fit right. It seems to dig into my sides which is uncomfortable. I'm cruelly going to call to ask some questions about it. I'll let you know if they recommend anything.

Post Op - day 1

My procedure was yesterday at 8:00 a.m. Here is a quick run down of the days events.
Woke up & took my first dose of antibiotics. Had breakfast followed by 2 Lorazepam, 1 Phenegran & 1000mg of Tylenol. I was excited but also had a touch of anxiety and was afraid the Lorazepam wasn't going to work. By the time we drove to the office (about 15 minutes) all worries were gone - it was doing its job.
Said good bye to my husband and went to change into my surgery clothes (disposable undies 7 a robe). Lisa took my weight, measurements and the 'before' pictures. Dr. Johnson came in and did his markings and then we were off to the procedure room. The bed was heated and felt soooo good. The incisions were made - 5 in front and 2 in back and then the tumescent was pumped in. The incisions stung a bit but it was manageable. I could feel the fluid running down my sides and it was cold & tickled a bit. Once that was done he began lasering the fat and then suctioning it out. To be honest right now I can't tell you which was worse - but one of them was very bizarre. I stood up at one point so we could check for any high spots - which were found and then he finished up. Through the entire procedure the nurse was right with me talking to me and massaging my head. She was wonderful. Lisa wiped everything up, put my garment on me & took me to a room so they could talk with my husband. At this point I was done and was sleeping off and on so I missed most of the conversation.
The drive home is mostly a blur - except I remember telling my husband that he was going to the wrong way a couple of times. Like I would know the difference at this point!
Got home got into bed and slept for most of the day. I am only taking Tylenol and ibuprofen for the pain (I tried a percocet but it made me nauseous). My follow up is today at 3:00. I get to take the GC garment off and have all the pads changed. Which I am looking forward too.
Standing and sitting are fine - it's just transitioning from one to the other that hurts. It feels like I've got a sunburn on top of extremely sore muscles. My abs hurt much worse then my flanks and I have one incision that is draining like crazy. I've done a little housework, a load of laundry and some dishes - it feels better to be upright or totally flat. Things don't hurt as bad. I thought I would hate the GC but am actually liking it and couldn't imaging not having one on! Will update after my appointment.

Take it easy the next couple of days, I found to be in more pain on 3, maybe because I thought I should be up and at em'! I too am similar in body, although a tiny bit taller at 5'8" and 160. I wear a size 8 as well. I am very pleased with my abs! I am 2 weeks out and still swollen as I haven't lost any inches on my flanks! Good luck over the next couple of days and make sure you take the arnica pills!

Thanks. I feel like I should be busy too, but doing nothing has been pretty indulgent.
