CO2 laser treatment

lisserb
This is my second treatment. I have a scar on my forehead from a cyst removal and I’m attempting to improve the appearance of it. My first CO2 was a spot treatment in July, along with a bit of filler. This time I went with a full forehead treatment, with no filler.
I’ll be documenting the healing process.

I don't think the photos represent much improvement.

Don’t mind the spot above the scar. I’m still dealing with some healing acne.
It didn’t change as much as I’d hoped. I am actually going for a second round on November 8th, across my whole forehead this time to see how much more I can even it out.
If that doesn’t work, I’ll be looking into scar revision surgery.
I’m not going to get a filler put in this time. The filler seems to have not settled into the right spot and has made a hard lump, which is essentially why I even have a scar in the first place...because I had a hard lump removed.
I’ll be starting a new post to detail the recovery on round two.

3 weeks post CO2

Three weeks post. Still slightly pink. When my skin is dehydrated, I can see the grid marks still. The filler doesn’t seem to be in the right place and is causing a bit of a bump, which puts me back at square 1, since the whole reason I have a scar was to get rid of a bump. I see my dermatologist tomorrow, so I’ll find out what can be done about that. I can definitely see a difference in the before and after now, and I’m happy with the way the CO2 worked. I almost wish we had only done that and no filler. I’ll be asking about a second CO2 treatment, but foregoing the filler this time. I might see about going further across my forehead.
