I have been wanting to get a laser don’t to improve the “ smoker lines” around my upper lip as well as fine lines and wrinkles around my lower cheeks. I finally had it done two days so it’s still early in the recovery period. The doctor has been wonderful and communicating with me as I have been concerned about the degree is swelling I have today. I was wondering if this is a normal reaction. I did expect swelling of course but was a bit shocked when I woke up this morning. I’ll post more pictures later.

CO2 fractional laser recovery ( non ablative)
This has been a long week! It took quite awhile for the swelling to reduce to a more normal size ( in my opinion) I was pretty freaked out the first half of the week worrying that I had ruined my skin and face. But each day it got better and there was never any pain only discomfort from the massive swelling I experienced . The picture of me in the green tee is today. You can see the improvement.
My face is still a little bit swollen but much better. It’s itchy and slightly flakey so I’m keeping it highly moisturized. It’s getting there!

Final results
I meant to post this update awhile back. I’m very happy with the final results! I did have an unusually rough reaction to the laser but that’s not the norm. Everything healed up beautifully and Dr Ali was extremely patient and kind with me as I was quite anxious for awhile there. He and his staff were absolutely wonderful!
