We use two of the most effective and approved modalities to treat acne scarring. Though we have provided many patients with great results, this condition remains one of the most difficult issues to improve in all of facial aesthetics. As acne scarring represents skin defects that extend into the deeper layers of the skin, deeper skin effects may not be captured by a camera but may improve over time. Please reach out to our office if we can be of any help.

5k Spent to Feel Stupid. Zero Difference if Not Worse.

You tell me. The photos speak for themselves. I didn't expect the scars to be 100% gone, but even a 30-50% difference would have been worth the money and time. It has been just about a year since the procedure and I don't look any better. In a way I feel guilty writing this review because I really liked Dr Fechner. I don't think he's a bad doctor. His personality was really kind. Everyone at his office was wonderful. The place itself was beautiful and clean. However, this procedure was a total fail. I dont know why. He had examples of patients with worse scarring and better results. I followed the pre and post care. I dont smoke, rarely drink, I wear sunscreen every day, and I get plenty of sleep. I'm up writing this review tonight instead of sleeping because I still find myself stewing in the negative feelings I have everytime I look at my face. I placed a lot of hope on this procedure making a difference. I'm still paying on this (I used care credit) for nothing. Not only did the laser not work, but after explaining my frustration to the surgeon a few months later, I paid about 4k for bellafill. It helped a little with the hollowness in my face but overall it didn't really do anything for the scars. At most, it replaced some of the facial fat destroyed by the laser. My skin is very lax and has very little elasticity. I've lost the respect from my boyfriend to make any decisions regarding my face after this. It's embarrassing. I wasted time and money that we could have used to do something fun instead of me staying indoors for over 3 weeks. Just another thing my scarred up face has robbed me of. People with normal skin might not understand that accepting myself with ugly skin isn't the answer I'm looking for. Even people with less attractive features can look overall more attractive and healthier if they're skin is smooth and free of defects. If I'm willing to put the effort and money in, beautiful skin should be mine for the taking. I don't even know what to do anymore. I just try not to look at myself. I try not to think about it. I know I'm supposed to be more than my skin, but when I pay that kind of money specifically for my skin with no benefits, of course I'm upset. I was told by the surgeon that I don't know the potential long term benefits that I might not be seeing now, but that is not how surgeons all over the world advertise this procedure. In most cases there is some immediate and objectively positive change in the patient. The best I looked was when I was still swollen two weeks out. People close to me were initially impressed, saying "you can barely see the scars." Then the swelling went down and my skin looked deflated and just as bad as ever.
