Online reviews are a fact of life today, and they...

Online reviews are a fact of life today, and they can be helpful in learning about a surgeon, I wish I read more when making my choice. I'd like to share with you my experience with Dr. Quinton Chivers who completed my tummy tuck February 10th, 2016. This was a surgical procedure I have waited a few years for, my pregnancies left me with a lot of sagging skin in the abdominal area. The incision is clean and the belly button was formed and positioned nicely, however, I have been left with a dog ear on my left side, a raised lump on the incision itself and much more could have been taken off the flanks, they look horrible. This procedure was done at clinic 360 in Toronto, whom I have had a difficult time even getting medical records from and they still have not sent them to me for review, which raises red flags for me. Dr. Quinton Chivers has since left clinic 360 very abruptly to open his own clinic Canadian Surgery. With that said, as a patient who has paid for my procedure and left in the middle of this dysfunction between the clinic 360 and Dr Chivers, neither will treat the area to get my results that I have paid for, also note, since having this surgery I have only seen the doctor once who assessed the area since surgery. I feel like I was not a cared for and respected as a patient and this was a cash grab to get my money and be left with a result that was far from my expectations.
Dr Quinton Chivers personal nurse Melissa has been contacted multiple times and told about what my concerns are, each time I speak of Melissa she is very unprofessional, not empathetic and even told me ..why should Dr. Quinton Chivers correct this when it’s coming out of his pocket. This is not how any patient / client should be treated.
My best advice is to try to find an experienced, dedicated surgeon and work with them to achieve your goals, make sure this person is well known in the field and it’s a reputable clinic that has a prior history with successful results.
I will now be searching for a reputable surgeon to correct this for me.
Best of luck to everyone who is getting a tummy tuck.

Clinic 360 to the rescue

Since yesterday Clinic 360 has offered to remove the dog tag for me with a different surgeon, and they will cover the costs and intend to do so very soon . I am so appreciated and this showas a clinic that does value their patients even on paper I am still a patient of Dr. Chivers, so happy I don't have to deal with the unprofessionalism and rudeness of Melissa his nurse and thenjoy complications to have this removed.

I have been left with Tummy tuck results were not apart of my goals or desired outcome, from a very evident dog ear, a raised lump over my incision and large flanks that stick out and only seeing Dr. Chivers once since the surgery with no communication or follow up has been a huge disappointment. I have made multiple contact attempts with his nurse with no solutions and only unprofessional mannerisms. They are very kind prior to the surgery when they want your money!
