Dr. Guyuron is a highly skilled surgeon. I searched for a surgeon willing to remove the bilateral veins, located under my eyes and temples, for over 6 years. I found this wonderful surgeon through Real Self. The right side of my face had large blue veins that did protrude slightly and extended from my temple area to underneath my eye. The veins on the left side of my face were more flat but were very visible (blue) through my fair skin and also extended from the temple area to the under eye area. I no longer have to spend time carefully applying corrector, concealer, and highlighter to cover up the vivid blue veins that caused me to appear so tired. In my opinion…that is priceless and it made my daily routine much easier. Dr. Guyuron is extremely professional, skilled, and confident. He takes his time during the procedure and is very cautious. I was given local anesthetic during the procedure and did not experience any type of pain what so ever. The office staff was very nice and helpful as well. I highly recommend this surgeon as surgical removal of veins around the eye / temple area is a highly skilled procedure.

Hi! How much did it cost? How did he perform the procedure? I have the same problems with very pronounced veins around eyes and temples and need to do something about it but dont know how and what just yet.

For both eyes it cost around $2,000.00. I had terrible veins around my temples and under eye area. He is a great surgeon.

I understand what you mean. I tried everything and could not find anyone willing to remove the veins. He is a highly skilled surgeon and worth a consult.

Total cost for both eyes was $2,000.00. Laser did nothing for my veins and it was hurt! My cost for Sclerotherapy (4 recommended treatments) were the same as my bilateral vein removal surgery. I went to the best docs in my area and only Guyron was confident enough to do it. He is a facial plastic surgeon (does migraine surgery too).
No laser or injections (sclerotherapy) were used. He physically removed the oven by small incision and I have no scaring at all! He is truly skilled and intelligent. Where do you live?

I have the exact same temple/eye veins you used to have. Did Dr Guyuron make incisions in your face and actually remove them? Or was a less invasive like injections or a laser?

He did physically remove the veins. However I have no scars at all. No injections or laser ever used.

Yes I agree about the laser. I tried that too but no improvement. Another treatment the doctors recommend is sclerotherapy. They suggested 3-4 treatments of sclerotherapy for me which totaled around $2,000. It was the same cost the same as the actual removal of them. Now that I am home, I will search for my before pics to post.

Gee my after pic was before my fat transfer surgery. Lol. So u can images how visible the large veins were when he removed them. He delivered without hesitation!

Honestly it is worth while to consult with Guyuron via Skype or face time. He will spend a lot of time with you. My initial consultation was online with him. He is the only facial plastic surgeon that I know who does vein removal. It’s been 4 years and my eyes still look great!
