Its been 9 months since my procedure--- which feels like its been longer. I have no side effects from the surgery. Not lumps/bumps, pain, nerve damage, etc. Overall I'm very happy with what I see. I honestly haven't been back to see Dr. Vanek for many many months and I know I should follow up with him. Best of luck to all who decide to get Vaser Lipo and I would highly recommend Dr. Vanek!

New Compression Garment

Today I went in for my next massage and I mention to the team that my current garment is bunching some around my waist. I wanted to be sure that the pressure points that the bunching was causing wouldn't create a negative outcome. The team looked at it and felt that it may be related to my "hour glass shape" or the fact that I have big hips. She gave me a different garment that she says is just as good as what I currently have in compressing my abs but wouldn't bunch like my current one.

The new one is way less bulking which I love but its complicated. Once it is on, it is on. Good thing its crotchless! Which, for me, is awkward to wear. Only a few more weeks and all of this will be behind me.

Dr. Vanek and his staff is amazing!! They present a family environment. The staff know your name when you walk and want to know how you are doing/feeling. Always willing to go out of their way to help guide you through the process. Mary Jo carefully guided me through the process and Lindsay is the best masseuse in Lake County! When deciding what I wanted to do and if I wanted to do it, Dr. Vanek really set it up as he is just improving upon me not changing me. I liked that concept. The day of the surgery Dr. Vanek was literally the last person I saw before I went under (holding my hand telling me I am in good hands) and the first face I saw when I woke up (telling me that everything went beautifully). I would recommend Dr. Vanek and his staff to anyone looking to improve upon what God gave them!
