Clear & Brilliant is VERY subtle

I had Clear & Brilliant dime once on a lower setting because I was afraid of getting burned. It did literally nothing. My practitioner, Nurse Danielle Green was kind enough to redo the procedure for me to see if I’d get better results. Results I was after was decreased fine lines, decreased visibility of acne scarring, and
Decreased visibility of blood vessels. I did peel a little the second time and I did experience some redness and roughness to the texture of my skin afterwards. I didn’t see any other visible results on my face besides these side effects, however, she also did part of my neck and chest, which has far more sun damage than my face. She did a lower setting on this area and I did see results in this area - decreased visibility of freckles and sunspots. I would recommend this treatment for people who have freckles and sunspots and want to decrease their visibility. I would not recommend doing only one treatment. If you don’t have much sun damage this peel may not be for you. If you do, and you are someone who can’t have downtime for a typical chemical peel, you might consider this treatment. If you’re okay with chemical peels, you might find those to provide more dramatic results than Clear & Brilliant. In any case, I was not burned with this lease and it appears to be very subtle and safe in my experience.

Good service

Danielle, who did my treatment, called me back and explained this laser just doesn’t have very dramatic results. Someone I knew had more dramatic results than what I saw, which might be due to the laser being used on a lower setting on me m. Danielle explained she used it on medium because I expressed concern about getting burned. Good on Danielle for doing what she could to make sure I didn’t get burned. I would 100% rather get a treatment that didn’t do anything than end up scarred like some of the other reviews I’ve seen. Nevertheless, since I wasn’t very stoked about paying for a treatment that didn’t seem to do anything, she offered to redo the treatment for me. She’s going to try it on a higher setting to see if I can get some kind of visible improvement - fingers crossed!

Clear & Brilliant did absolutely nothing

Someone told me my dermatologist told them that a Clear & Brilliant peel is a good once-annual alternative to multiple annual chemical peels. I waited till the Fall to get it done, so I could avoid the Texas sun. Danielle Green, who is a registered nurse did my treatment. I’m extremely grateful that she was cautious not to burn my skin. She also had my dermatologist write me a prescription for an antibiotic just in case I got a cold sore. She used numbing cream on my face so it wasn’t very painful - just a little sting and burn. The day of, my face was red. The next day, my skin was back to normal. Second day, also normal. 3rd day, still normal. I left feedback through their customer satisfaction survey letting them know it did nothing and called and left a message with Danielle’s assistant with the same info. No replies. Thankfully, I did not come out of this scarred or burned. But I can say, it was an absolute waste of $300 and all the planning and time that went into the pre-care and making sure I could do the aftercare. I cleared my calendar assuming I’d be peeling for 5 days - totally unnecessary.
