I have struggled with my tummy since the age of 11 years old. I have no children yet my lower tummy appears like I do. I have lost a total of 80 lbs on my own and now im ready to be able to enjoy the fruits of my labor. I have been to two visits with this doctor and he comes across very confidently. I have a friend who have a long history with this doctor. She highly recommended him.

Nice job with the weight loss!!    You have some exciting days ahead and I will be anxious to see your results.   Do you have everything ready for your recovery process?

Make sure to have a weeks worth of groceries in the house, help for the first 3 days and you should be good to go. The first week you are going to focus on rest, pain control and good nutrition.   Don't think or worry about anything else during that time.  You also should grab some Milk of Magnesia to take daily while on the pain medications.  Constipation is not the route you want to go.

Do not forgot to walk about briefly between long periods of rest to prevent DVT/PE and help prevent constipation. Hydration will help with constipation caused by medications or lack of activity and the hydration will force you to move about to reach the restroom. Also Tylenol and/or over-the-NSAIDs might be needed when you no longer need the prescription strength pain reliever.

You will probably have no appetite and feel as if there is no space in your body for food; but nutrition is even more important than usual. Eating very small amounts many times a day helped me. I had protein bars and protein shakes for dense nutrition and could only manage about one half of either at any given time.

Are you having liposuction of the waist or flanks?

Your surgeon has an excellent reputation which lead me to assume his fees would be cost prohibitive; however, this does not appear to be the situation.

I had a consultation with him concerning Sculptra during which he was professional and warm.
