WORTH IT$5,600
I had my follow up today & they said everything looks good. They removed the tape & cut down some long sutures. Still have a fair amount of swelling but they are starting to get softer feeling (as before my skin was very swollen & tight/hard).
Sensation is good. No draining. They said come back in 2 weeks we will discuss scar cream & massage to keep scar flat. I have 1 more week where they say I'm susceptible to infection etc.
I'm taking 3 500 mg Tylenol twice a day & Benadryl for the itching along my sutures (from allergy to glue)
I'm glad I bought several sports bras in the size bigger then I am & my normal size-as with the swelling I'm not my normal size. A good website for front closure sports bras is called Herroom.com. If you invest in this amount for surgery do urself a favor & invest in a couple good sports bras-as you wear them 24/7 for over next month post op. Get a pillow wedge to support yourself after surgery or use a recliner if you have one. Lots of pillows, as you will be laying on your back & upright position for awhile.

Today I've had moderate pain, as I'm weaning off the pain pills. I developed a rash from the glue & have been taking Benadryl for the rash & itching.

How is your sensation? Did he restructure any of your breast tissue? I'm getting mine done this thursday and so excited!

Sensation seems to be fine. Yes I had surgical glue & tape that will fall off on its own with showering.
I'm excited for you! I'm thrilled with my results, I basically took it easy the first 5 days & I was back to almost normal. Yesterday was just Tylenol, ice packs & Benadryl

I had my follow up today with Dr. Columbus. He said they look great. I'm keeping ahead of the pain by setting my alarm to remind me to take my pain meds every 4 hours. I was able to shower today & wash my hair. Some of the yellow tape came off my nipples during the shower.

Did you get a reduction?
It looks like you got an anchor. Was a lollipop not an option?
Did you have to get drains?
You look great by the way and your boobs look just like mine except I'm a 32/34ddd

Thank you! I wish I would of done it sooner! You won't regret it! I made sure I had the time I needed to rest for the 1st week after surgery & tried to prepare as much as possible beforehand. Let me know if you have any questions about it

Hello! I'm doing great! Just had my 3 month checkup today dr said I'm healing nicely-actually ahead of how the scars should look! I was taking a pain med called Norco which is similar to Vicodin. Then I tapered it down to 3 Tylenol at a time- a few times a day after the first week or so

Glad to hear it! I am having surgery in August and i am nervous! I have a 5 yr old and 1yr old, my bff and husband will be taking on the child care for three weeks, i hope this will be enough time, any suggestions are appreciated... thank you so much for the response! Happy Healing!

I think 3 weeks will be good! I have a list of things that I posted on here that I found helped me after surgery. Order your post op sports bras early to make sure they fit-I recommend buying (1)one size larger & (1) two sizes larger then normal to accommodate the swelling. Make sure you have a nice ice pack or bags of frozen peas to help with swelling. Start trying to figure out how you will sleep in an upright position either a recliner or using multiple pillows in your bed. Maybe make some dinners ahead of time & freeze them that way dinner is just popped in oven.
I planned ahead as much as possible & that helped.
Hope this helps-let me know if you have any other questions.

Great advice on the supplies needed, thanks for sharing! Please keep us posted as you continue to heal and recover. Just curious, did you already know you were allergic to the glue used, or did you figure that out after your procedure?
