Dr.Jamali is the Choice

I had a recessed chin and had been researching a long time for the best treatment. I decided to go with sliding genioplasty instead of chin implant because the former can give a better and more natural projection and it's safer, too. So I searched for the best surgeon performing SD, and a few options came up. After reading websites, comparing reviews and watching some videos, I determined Dr. Jamali is the choice.
I right way booked a skype consultation, followed by an in-office visit. Dr. Jamali is very knowledgable and experienced as expected. And the staff, especially Nina, are very nice and helpful. The office environment also makes me feel relaxed. On the surgery day, everything went well. I didn't even notice when I fell asleep. When I woke up, the job was nicely done. I immediately noticed the improvement in my chin (I got an 8mm advancement) and better side profile despite the swelling in neck area.
About recovery: nothing really painful for me except some throat pain and swelling/discoloration (I bled easily so I had some purple/red discoloration in my neck and upper chest. They disppeared after 3 weeks) in the first few days (after taking the medications, I felt a lot better). One thing to note is that I didn't experience numbness at all (I touched my lips and chin area to make sure), thanks to Dr. Jamali's skill.
Now I'm at my 5th week check point. Just did the second in-office follow-up. Everything is good except a little tightness in lower front teeth and chin. But this is just one month-ish. Final result is at 6th month and I'm already very satisfied with how I look right now. It's only going to better and better.
