Chin/Neck Lipo, Buccal Fat Pad Removal and Cheek Fillers
WORTH IT
This was my third procedure with Dr. Khalifeh. I was super nervous about this one because it's my face and if anything goes wrong, it would be very noticeable. Well, per usual, Dr. Khalifeh knocked it out of the park.
Day of surgery I got there after taking a Xanax. I was relaxed and ready. His surgical staff prepped me and the doctor came and got to work.
He stated with cheek filler. Not painful at all. Just weird feeling the needle going down to the point and the cannula but again...no pain.
Next was the chin/neck lipo. The worst part of it is the tumescent solution injection. After the lidocaine kicks in, it's fine Just weird to hear some of the sounds. I will say that I was chatting with Dr. Khalifeh throughout the procedure. He's a smart guy (obviously) and very personable. I think this is why I've felt comfortable doing 3 procedures back to back with him. I trust him.
After he did the chin and neck lipo, he went to the buccal fat pad removal. No pain at all except the initial stick of the lidocaine. After that, it was smooth sailing. He removed 3cc of buccal fat and then sutured me up.
His assistants wrapped my head and told me to add the compression garment a day or so later. There wasn't much pain. I think I used a day or so of Tylenol and that's all. The sutures dissolved in a week or so.
I'm now 17 days post op and OH MY FRICKING GOD...I look awesome. I'm not even 3 weeks post op and I am totally happy. I have a lump underneath my chin. I think it's just normal fat necrosis. The doctor told me to rub it several times per day. It is definitely going down.
I cannot recommend Dr. Khalifeh enough. I asked him what he thought about me getting another procedure and he told me point blank, "No, you don't need that. Just leave it alone." When he said that, I knew he had my best interest at heart and I was like "OK, No problem."
I work in healthcare. I know good physicians and surgeons. This dude is A1. Happy to answer questions about any of my procedures! Just DM me.
