Day 5

It's been 5 days since my surgery, and I returned to my desk job today. I noticed that I have more swelling and it looks worse then it did at Day 3. I'm kinda curious if this is part of the process, or if I was laying down too much or if my bandages have been too tight? I'm going to have my stitches removed tomorrow and I will talk to my doctor. I read online that delayed swelling with Vaser was a thing. Wondering if anyone else has experienced this? Anyways... still very sore, I can't really touch it, and my neck has bruised yellow. All and all, I am wearing a turtle neck and no one has noticed or mentioned it at work. I'm hopeful that the swelling will go down soon. I've been using arnica cream on it, several times a day. And I have a CBD cream I use when it gets extra itchy.
CBD Gumies for the pain have helped me avoid using any of my prescribed ones so far.

Chin Lipo

I have absolutely hated my chin for a while now. I have tried CoolSculpting on my chin. I tried it twice each time a year apart. I felt like the first time I noticed some results but the second time I think caused maybe a little bit of loose skin. Either way my chin still look terrible. After reading reviews online I decided that liposuction was the way to go. Ended had a much shorter healing time than something like kybella and it yielded better results.
I look through over a dozen different facial plastic surgeons in the Denver and Colorado area. After seeing Dr. Khoury's results, and with the knowledge that he was one of the best facial plastic surgeons in Denver, and his price point was right for what I was looking for. I decided to go with him.
It was a long process to get the initial consultation because he has a several-month waiting list but I was able to get pushed up, and to have my surgery the week before Christmas so that I could have some extended time off for recovery. Everyone at his office is very sweet, very reassuring, the facility is very clean, and professional. Dr. Khoury will be honest about what you need. And he will turn you away if he feels you don't need a particular surgery. Luckily he took on my double chin.
On the day of my surgery he was very kind, and explained all of the medications and detail, and instructed my mother on all of my aftercare instructions. They gave me some prescriptions to fill out prior and I brought them to my appointment. This included the sedative, antibiotic, and pain meds. The sedative was interesting because it made me feel almost drunk, and they wheeled me into surgery, did local anesthetic, and if I remember correctly I think I may have even been talking during the procedure cuz I didn't feel anything. After I was still loopy, and made my mom get me fast food. Ate it just fine, and went home and went to bed. The next morning the anesthetic had worn off, and I just tried to lay low, it wasn't necessarily painful, but it did hurt.
I have been taking a variety of natural supplements to help with my healing. And I would highly recommend the following:
*SPM active by metagenics (inflammation)
* regenemax by xymogen (collagen rebuilder)
* arnica pellets
*arnica cream.
It's been 3 days, and i'm still very swollen but I already notice a change. I can't say enough good things about Dr.Khoury. He even wheeled me to my mom's car!
