Chin lipo

Today’s the day of my chin lipo! I’ve always had a fuller face but in the last few years it’s really gotten bad. I’m naturally very thin and even though I work out often, I just couldn’t seem to get rid of that stubborn chin fat! After this procedure I will likely undergo Botox In the masseter muscles to further slim my face. Maybe buccal fat removal but who knows. Will update after the procedure and during my recovery!

Today went great! Was taken back very quickly to get all ready for my surgery. Met with the Dr. and talked about everything. He’s very realistic about the outcome which I really appreciate. The nurses were all very sweet and fun and the anesthesiologist was very down to earth and I felt sooo safe under his care. Once I was on the operating table they wasted no time giving me the meds haha literally the last thing I said was “oh I feel funny” and they were like “ yep we just gave you your IV meds”. Out like a light! Woke up very sleepy and a little shaky from not eating since the night before. My mom picked me up and we picked up some Panera Mac and cheese and a smoothie :) Now I’ve just been chillin in a recliner binge watching some girly shows. My compression garment was a bit big even though it was a small so I pinned it in the back and now it’s perfect. I can tell the swelling is setting in. The pain is minimal so far- honestly feels like that pain you get with a bruise- kind of an achy feeling. I will say I also had buffalo hump removal at the same time ( embarrassing to post, even on here) and that’s more painful at this point. Here’s to being a skinny girl with weird fat deposits haha.

Last night the pain set in but it wasn’t too bad- maybe a 5 at the worst of it. I also had lipo on the back of my neck/ upper back and that area gets pretty sore and stiff. Today I was able to take out the gauze stuff under my compression garment. Everything’s swollen but I can already see a difference.
