My chin is fully recovered and I am now happy with his work.... I went a month or two with lumps and swelling but I’m guessing that was trauma from the aggressive lipo. I reconsidered coming back to leave a better review bc I see a lot of people online not happy with the amount of fat they do in chin lipo, and I must say dr Hennessy took a fair amount out. Although It did come with some short term consequences I would say it was worth it. And I am now happy with my chin.

Generally, it is critical to wear a compression garment for 24-48 hours without removing same after chin lipo. If one removes it too early, then inflammatory fluid collects as does fibrosis. Of note, I generally advise patients to wear the chin's compression garment 12 hours per day for 12 days after the first 48 hours post lipo.

Chin Lipo

Had chin lipo mid March. Not worth it should have done kybella... I ended up choosing Dr Hennessy for my lipo because he helped my best friend and her results were okay... I paid 600$ more and was not happy with the work done on my neck. After seeing another plastic surgeon I was told it was the aggressive technique done by the dr that left me with lumps and scar tissue on my neck. My neck now looks botched and the dr keeps telling me it will get better after $1000 on lymphatic massages and radio frequency sessions it looks a little better but still have lumps and dents... also still have fat on the sides of my face he only lipo’d directly under my chin and not on the sides so there was no difference besides visible lumps now. I am not one to leave bad reviews but I am just not happy with the outcome. I paid 1600$ for the lipo plus $1000 in therapy to help with the scar tissue... now that I look at it I should have paid the 3k I was quoted by Houston’s top drs and had the work properly done. You know what they say you get what you pay for.....
