Since having my last son I could never seem to get rid of my double chin. I didn't like to smile
on pictures because it made my face look like a giant pumpkin ????. Anyway I decided to try chin liposuction. For the most part the procedure was easy. I just felt like I had gone a few minutes in the ring with Mike Tyson. Recovery for me has been annoying and frustrating due to the fact I hadn't prepared myself for the numbness that is still present after one week and having to wear the compression garment full time. I am still in he process of healing some days look much better than others.

You look incredible ! I am due to get mine in July . I am curious about how long you had to wear the compression chinstrap and was it round the clock? After you finished with that are you still required to wear it and for how many weeks?

My surgeon had me wear mine 24/7 for the first 3 weeks and then at bed time for the next month or so. If I were you I would wear it as much as possible and tolerable because it really helps reduce swelling and you just feel supported when gravity pulls on it.

Wow! That is a lot but I have heard that the more you wear it the better the result . I guess I will just have to get used to it . Thank you.

Your results are amazing! You look great! Are you happy with it? May I ask, did you experience any temporary paralysis of your lips? I've read this is a risk and in one photo you've posted (the one with the white beanie and pink top) you appear as though you may have had this? If so, has it fully resolved? Thanks heaps!

yes. the paralysis of my lip affected my smile for about a week. it resolved completely once the swelling went down. And, yes. I am super happy with my decision to do this. it gives me such a slimming appearance!

I like the results. Does the skin feel tight? Pr a bit lax? That is my main concern

My skin tightened up pretty much. However, it really depends on the skin type I think. I believe wearing the chin wrap, or whatever it’s called helps the way the skin looks afterward.
