3 days post op
These pics were taken 3 days post op and I am so happy with the results so far I wasn’t even expecting it to be this Jurassic, now final results can take up to 12 months so I’m just being patient. Today I am 4 days post op and i definitely feel a lot of tightness under my chin/neck area when I look up or look certain directions, it’s not super comfortable to talk and/or eat which has to be one of the most annoying things. The compression garment can definitely get annoying but I can see the importance of it. I’ve been wearing it for 24 hours a day so far and will continue to do so until I hit my 2 week mark then I will decrease to 18 hours a day.
Bye bye double chin!
I've been meaning to post a review but have been forgetting (I am 3 days post op) my under chin lipo was Monday April 26th at 4pm. Rewinding a little: I Schueduled this appointment back in January (around my birthday) after doing thorough research I concluded dr.Friedman would be the perfect surgeon. This is my first surgery ever let alone plastic surgery so I was extremely nervous and excited. my boyfriend and I drove up from south Texas (about 10 hours total round trip) just for dr.Friedman. Upon arrival I filled out some pre-op paperwork a ton of initials and signatures, and the next thing I knew a nurse (Kim)was calling me to the back, soon after I got to the consultation room i was introduced to the very talented dr.Friedman! We went through the consultation, paper work, expectations, took tons of before photos, be marked my chin up with the areas I assume he planned to suction. We then moved into the surgical room when they injected what I'm assuming was lidocaine or something similar (some type of local anesthetic) and my chin and lower lip started to numb, then he made a small incision where the lipo cannula would be inserted, and proceeded to insert about a quart of liquids (saline, adrenaline, and some other numbing product) until I looked like a massive bull frog and then began to suck it all out. None of it was very painful just uncomfortable which is expected. Kim the nurse was so supportive and kind throughout the process and made me feel at home, and dr friedman had me laughing the whole time. I loved the staff and my surgeon and told them i will definitely be coming back! I am only a few days post op and I love my results already. I can't thank this team enough for everything.
